Looks like nobody is watching this game...lol

 

We're all watching, just in awe at how good at being bad these two are.

 

We have Oscars awards and Razzles awards...They are fighting for the latter...lol

 

This match had its own significance: the loser would finish dead last in the tournament standings. I was rooting for Panama to be the side to get that honor and glad that is how it turned out. But I have to admit Tunisia made a meal out of beating Panama and the Panama team had also come to play and show its pride.

Still, when all is said and done, Panama ended with 3 losses (0:3, 1:6, 1:2), going pointless allowing 11 goals while scoring 2 (-9 GD). That is still better than some of the other worst placed finishers in some other tournaments, but their performance did underlie the fact that Concacaf is rather shallow once you get passed Mexico, the US (who didn't qualify) and occasionally Costa Rica (who ended up with a solitary point after losing their first two games). Combined with the fact that Honduras had already lost Concacaf's playoff to Australia, this World Cup has made Concacaf's stock decline after an incredible World Cup for 3/4 of their teams in Wc2014.
