Davinson Sanchez completely to blame. Letting the ball bounce against a player that he towers over.

Okazaki doesn't score much either. Although he brings other qualities. I prefer Yuya Osako, although he also doesn't score much.

Shinji Kagawa was exactly the player I was counting on to make a difference, or Honda off the bench.

That was a pretty garbage penalty, actually.

Tuned in a little late. Was the red card the result of the glaring handball?

these are my best Japanese picks, too

Also, there was the Colombian defense you were talking about.

yes - but it was the result of a CB's error.

I'm trying to think of a worse start to a WC campaign? Red card and a goal so early.

Bolivia in '94 had a terrible start. I don't remember the exact details as I was 11.

under this unknown coach Japan is a team that lets you play your game. Colombia have their chances to come back

They didn't show a replay of what the centerback did. Must have been something nasty because I haven't seen many red cards issued to players who purposefully touched a ball.

Good save. Not very hard, but the easy stuff sometimes slips by.

He extended his arm to block the shot.
The CB let a long ball bounce and the forward got behind him to start the whole commotion.

I paid money into a pool to pick teams out of a hat to win the world cup. The five teams I picked out -

    Panama - Lost 3-0
    Saudi Arabia - Lost 5-0
    Peru - Lost 1-0
    Nigeria - Lost 2-0
    Final team - Colombia :ROFLMAO:

yep, they have the quality to do it, especially against Japan who let them play. Against a team like Poland or Switzerland it might have been hard, but against the Japanese it's quite easy :)
