and there's the "outta nowhere" Kane goal I was speaking about. From now on it will be even easier for the Brits, and my prediction (that England is a serious contender for the WC title along with Brazil and Belgium becomes more and more true)
England up 1-0 over Tunisia - a totally just result thus far given England has been pushing forward from the opening whistle.
to be honest if they don't win the WC this year they won't win it anytime soon because this generation is at their peak in 2018 and I didn't see other younger Belgian players as talented as these ones coming from behind
England has not diminished its rhythm and if it keeps this up a second goal is a matter of time. I only wish my Brazil had done this against Switzerland, but that's history.
#6 for England makes all the difference for me. You need a smart, consistent , non flashy player like him for stability .The last generations of English players were undone by petty team rivalries.
I have seen and liked Enzo Scifo many years ago (probably 30+), and there have been others, too (Marc Wilmots for example), but I've never seen as many good players at the same time as today.
Tuned in just before the goal. Fantastic. That second goal attempt was nice too, if only a bit higher!
The tunisian coach knows his business. He forced his team to press high up on the turnover and England was caught flat footed. Englands main problem is probably deli . he doesn't fill a necessary role. not a ball winner, not a possession man, not a creator. Too many of the same flavor on the pitch for England.
