I think their overall defence is very good. We put a bit of pressure on them but didn't create any real clear cut chances. At least we are still alive, but I don't like it when we have to rely on other results. Lets hope Peru defeat France and make things really come alive in the last pair of matches.
Aussies were the better side. Danes primitive and shy by visions. I hope Peru get a good result against France.
Peru needs a win (if Peru and France tie) otherwise both Denmark and France have 4 points with the last game playing against each other... with a tie they both advance ....
Hats off to Australia Another disappointing display from Denmark. Just as I feared. They've seemed rattled in both games. Has only been able to take control in very small periods. I'm really starting to question Hareides abilities as a coach. Can we get Bert van Marwijk when you're done with him Australia?
It feels outlandish to note, after the embarrising performance, that Denmark now have played 17 matches without a defeat. Could it be that numbers sometimes lie....

I can't really think of anyone who stood out. Eriksen had the only goal from play, so he wins more or less by default.
Australia can still qualify, do they ? They just need to win vs Peru, Denmark to lose to France and scoring more goals than Denmark. Hard but nothing impossible.
STEP A: AUSTRALIA DEFEAT PERU A win over the South Americans would give Bert van Marwijk's team four points, drawing them level with Denmark. STEP B: FRANCE DEFEAT DENMARK Should the French clean sweep the group, they'll finish with nine points, and restrict Denmark to four points. STEP C: TALLY THE GOALS If the above results occur, Australia will qualify on goal difference with a win of more than one goal. If Australia win by one, it will come down to how many goals Denmark lose to France by. Two or more and the Socceroos are through. If Denmark only lose by one goal it come down to goals scored. Given both the Danes and the Socceroos have two goals each, it's a match-day three shootout. STEP D: TALLY THE CARDS If the two teams still can't be separated, it comes down to disciplinary record. The number of yellow cards and red cards will be counted, with a different point value for yellow and red cards. Australia have a slight edge here: the Danes have been issued four yellow cards; the Socceroos just three. STEP E: DRAW THE LOTS If the teams still can't be separated, lots are drawn. Two balls go in a pot: the one that gets pulled out stays on, the other goes home.
Respectable showing by Australia at this tournament, the match against Peru they have to give it their all but it won't be easy.
