Welcome to the new Gaffer. It's official - Paulo Fonseca will be the new head coach of #ASRoma!Welcome Paulo! 🐺— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) June 11, 2019
Who is new #Roma head coach Paulo Fonseca. I wrote an article on the Portuguese head coach a while back for @FutbolgradLive outlining his tactics and how he evolutinised #Shakhtar. https://t.co/Ud86U16YPN— Manuel Veth (@ManuelVeth) June 11, 2019
Not often you get a manager willing to talk tactics + game plan rather than platitudes + cliches ahead of a big game. Shakhtar's Paulo Fonseca did just that when we spoke ahead of their game with @ManCity + asked how he was going to try to stop City https://t.co/0Ikfnydpsn— Gabriele Marcotti (@Marcotti) November 6, 2018
Damn, I'm already liking Fonseca to an irrational level. I'm setting myself up for heartbreak, and I know it.
New Coach Paulo Fonseca outlined his vision for #ASRoma . “I am sure we’ll build a courageous, ambitious team that the supporters can be proud of.” https://t.co/pYTaIOR4s7 #SerieA #UEL #Shakhtar pic.twitter.com/JWe7kjun6B— Football Italia (@footballitalia) June 12, 2019
Everything sounds great with his view of the game. He has his philosophy and will stick to it as he should. Lets hope we can build a team to allow him to fulfill it...Please Roma, just this once get it right
“For me the quality of the performance is very important. Of course we want to win – the main goal is to win – but equally we want to build a team that has real quality about its play.” #ASRoma https://t.co/UsoEGfmhAY— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) June 13, 2019
Yeah, see I love hearing shit like this. I'm a realist, I know the chances we win anything are remote. Just give me sexy football and likable team , and we'll see what happens.
i completely agree! we have been far from titles in a long time! just give me something that makes me wanna tune in

Conclusion I got from watching this: Marlos is needed at my club. Josip is my first choice always though.
lol, I'm just going to say everyone's transfer ideas are really smart from now on. Balotelli? Soo smart, good call. Pastore? Yeah, he's the goat. No brainer. Ismaily? 30m, oh that's cheap! Nzonzi? Yeah, he'll replace De Rossi no prob. What a true DM that guy is.
Marlos was very impressive v us a few years ago. The silver fox who pulls the strings. There is no harm in having mature players who can give you consistency on the pitch as long as the money is right when signing. As long as your team is not filled with them and you have no resale value, there is room for 4, maybe 5 of them on the squad because they bring immediate consistency. Under paired with a mentor. Its a solid combo to take pressure of him.
