Fair enough. Time will tell as he has a way to go.

Lets not get too nuts about that...
1 of them has retired from international play and the other has only played about 50% of the time this year because he's had a few blunders.

However, I'm hopeful that Howard is on his way back to being a solid keeper in the Premier League.

I agree, but I was merely responding to a jibe with a jibe.

Paul Rachubka: Oldham Athletic goalkeeper signs one-year deal
    [IMG]
"Experienced goalkeeper Paul Rachubka has agreed a new one-year contract with League One side Oldham Athletic.
The Latics initially signed Rachubka on a short-term deal in September and that was later extended until the end of the 2013-14 season.
The 33-year-old ... appeared 13 times in all competitions last term.
He kept five clean sheets as Lee Johnson's Latics remained unbeaten in their final 10 games of the campaign."

Rachubka was in goal as Oldham opened their League One campaign with a 2-2 road draw against Colchester United.

He was also in goal for a 3-0 home loss to Middlesbrough today in the League Cup.

During the 2013/2014 season he made 10 starts for Oldham Atletic in League One and 3 starts in the Football League Trophy.

So, Paul has jumped around a bit since the last post, exclusively in England's lower leagues

Crewe, Bolton, and finally Bury......Paul has now joined Kerala Blasters in India's Super League....I believe he may be the first YA in India's top tier?????

As a note : he joined today along with Dimitar Berbatov

I love rereading this thread. No matter how much time progresses, some posters will immediately love a new Yank Abroad and think they are destined for great things.

Started today as Kerala traveled to ISL league leaders Chennaiyin in India's ISL. An 89th minute PK ended GK Paul's shut out streak as Kerala settle for a 1 - 1 draw

Starting as backup keeper, Paul came of the bench at the 73rd minute, presumably to replace an injured colleague, as Kerala Blasters suffered only their 2nd defeat of the season 1 - 3 at home to Bengaluru in India's ISL

Johnny Walker and Joe Corona could have brought in some neutrals. Need to search for young Bud Weiser's and Jack Daniels and then Jose Cuervo (for the Mexican eyeballs).
