What provisions does the PFA provide? I know other leagues often guarantee some level of training for those not in the first team...

No idea, this is the only thing I can find....

While I'm not confidant, but if he isn't listed in the 25 player squad for EPL... not sure if he is eligible to play in the reserves as one of the 3 overage player. I'll find out more if I can...

They redid the whole reserve system a while back but I think he could still play for reserves...

But I doubt its relevant unless the PFA forces Wenger. Better to use that spot for someone with a future at the club

It didn't matter in the old system. Not sure about the rules in the new system.. but either away, I guess it is pointless. With Wenger, it doesn't even matter..

Am I the only one who can't wait to see Ozil feed the ball to PCY?

Wenger will play Sanogo or some other U-21 ahead of PCY.

Edit: Or he'll sign Thierry Henry in January.

Wenger gave Arshavin a good chance. I remember Arsenal fans even boo-ing wenger for subbing in Arshavin. Also RVP was pissed at Wenger for subbing out Chamberlin for Arshavin.

Wenger didn't like his lazy style of play but he was a pretty creative players at times. IMO he slowed down Arsenals offense.

That was 2 season ago. I'm talking about last season when Arshavin went through same scenario as PCY is now...

Anyways, I plan on having some stupid & crazy optimism that it will work out for PCY one way or the other. Who knows, a miracle might happen.... :D 3rd yr is the lucky charm??

Hey bright side of this is ...

PCY could be in the military for the next couple years. At least he has a remote chance of playing top tier football ahead of WC.
