Yes, but someone has to at least transport the ball to said final third with Rode and Götze invisible in the middle...

Too bad PJH isn't CL eligible.

I suspect was emergency for possible transfer as he was penciled in to start, then pulled then came on at HT or something like that.

Not sure how much control he has over experience given squad issues and transfers out of his hands.

Finally some playing time! I hope he can use his opportunity to a) show Tuchel that he can at least be a decent backup and b) make himself interesting again for other clubs. As long as Schmelzer's injured, I smell a chance. I wonder how BVB will play in CL though as both Merino and PJH are not eligible.

Well, he always had plenty of experience on bench or in the stand regardless of the injuries (Park was already essentially excluded alongside Sahin and Subotic, with them expected to leave in the winter break). It's nice that he appears to have a plan and sticks to it, supporting the many young players. But as a result the team still has no visible cohesion and especially said preferred young players are regularly unnerved now that opponents know how to provoke them. And BVB is worse off for it (unfortunate timing as this season Bayern in well on the way playing the worst in half a decade).

Getting ready for life post-Reus/Auba. Hopefully Tuchel can be reminded of what PJH can do for him, the ungrateful bastid. :D

Can't disagree. Seems weird to cast off decent players to the side but I think they were overemthused about early results.

Two weeks only...too brief time for Park to actually really get back in his best for me.

IIRC, Tuchel had plans to use Merino as a CB from the very beginning

Dortmund losing 0-2. Guess who was the worst player form the first half. :(

No wonder, since he wasn't playing at all lately. Does BVB have a reserve (B) team?

Tuchel only has himself to blame. You can't let cover rot away with zero minutes and expect them to just slot in.

Well, PJH has been exiled again it seems so rot should continue :(

He wasn't good in that 45 minutes but hardly exile worthy given goals were off set pieces.

it was his chance & it didn't work out. he might get another opportunity before winter break but i now expect him to move on in winter.

PJH being targeted by Inter and Fiorentina. What the hell?
