The Bicentenario tournament kicks off later today with Pachuca taking on Estudiantes Tecos at 5:00 Pacific.
Damn, this forum is dead. ----------- Univisión starting the Querétaro-Pachuca match late, as usual. No professionalism, no respect for the viewer, WTF is wrong with these people?
Re: Gallos Blancos vs Pachuca[R] Just finished watching the match today. Freakin' Cacho How many opportunities can one get in a match & not convert
cmon people lets get this forum back to life so we lost to queretaro and yes cacho is even lazier than ever but i know that cvitanich and edgar benitez will team up for the atlante game and do a goleada and mendivil also gets his time
Its a ghost town. Need to get some more action going in this forum. Good game coming up Saturday- Pachuca v Pumas.
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting as much it's just that I've been busy and the forum being slow to begin with doesn't help matters. I promise to post a bit more to try and revive this forum. -------------- So another loss this time to Monterrey. Honestly it was a pretty frustrating game, in the first half we didn't exist out there. Monterrey had possession and control of the game in the entire 1st, in the 2nd we were a bit better but still Monterrey cruised. It could've actually been 4-0 had the lineswoman not messed up an offside call.
Two straight both 3-0 against Pumas and then Monterrey. Bicentenario standings: General 24 Guadalajara 22 Monterrey 19 Morelia 18 Santos 16 América 16 Pumas 14 Cruz Azul 14 Querétaro 13 Pachuca 11 Toluca Group 2 22 Monterrey 19 Morelia 16 América 13 Pachuca 08 Puebla 07 Jaguares Teams are already starting to pull away from us.
Looks like they're doing some sort of lame Univision programming promotion/match preview combo. As long as they start broadcasting the match on time and not after the 5th freakin' minute, then it's all good. ----------- PROBABLE LINEUP: Calero Aguilar López Muñoz Mustafá Rodríguez Rojas Correa Torres Manso Benítez Cvitanich
^ Huge improvement over the last few (0-3) league games, not only based on the end result but also the team's 'funcionamiento'. First América went up 1-0 with a lucky Ángel Reyna chip from outside the box, Calero was caught out of postition on this one after previously having stuffed 'Rolfi' Montenegro. Later Paul Aguilar was sent off after receiving a harsh second yellow card. (after all the ref was "Chiqui Drácula" ) Playing with a man down, Cvitanich tied it with a penalty kick and 'Pájaro' Benítez, assisted from a brilliant Manso long ball, put Pachuca ahead 1-2. Unfortunately on a set piece Toni López scored the definitive 2-2. Overall a massive improvement over the last few games, unfortunately the recent paternity over the Águilas could not be extended though.

Agreed. Wasn't what I expected but a win is a win.Couldn't see how Benitez missed that clear shot though.
Both Benitez & Darío Cvitanich have been missing shots all season in all comps. It drives me up the wall. I just love the way both Alvarez & Manso play on the pitch. Those guys are just straight money.
^ I'm really liking Manso this season. He was just toying with some Morelia defenders yesterday, good stuff.
