Qualified to date: CF Pachuca (CONCACAF / Mexico) Hekari United FC (OFC / Papua New Guinea) The UAE champion could be decided by tonight...
Not necessarily. There are 3 or 4 teams in our league that are better than Pachuca, but unfortunately that's not how it works to get into the CWC in CONCACAF. Nothing against Pachuca, but we've seen nothing but disappointment from them, hopefully they prove us wrong this time.
Perhaps in the CWC, but out of the teams that actually competed, Pachuca was better. Hopefully you made a mistake with the bold because Pachuca is the best team Mexico has had in terms of international performances.
Yo tengo fe que el Pachuca va a obtener los refuerzos necesarios para competir en Abu Dhabi. Buena suerte a los Tuzos
I'm from Indonesia and Papua is just beside Indonesia Geographically But I don't have a clue who the fack is Hekari United. But no need to worry. Mexican futbol is Light years ahead of Oceanian futbol. But constantly losing to Asian teams is beyond explanation. I hope Pachuca can do better this year.
The only CWC bright spot was the 2008 comeback against Al Ahly Cairo. Pachuca was down 2:0 (nearly 3:0) and then won 4:2 in overtime. Here's hoping Pachuca will have more traveling fans than Atlante last year.
Different format, doesn't count. In any case, I wasn't referring to Pachuca being the best in CWC, but best internationally. In my mind, Copa Sudamericana owns CWC :/.
I suppose, but nevertheless, Pachuca has a fourth place in the CWC cup AND a copa Sudamericana. Plus they qualified yet again, to the world championship, thus allowing for more chance to beat Necaxa's so called 'third place.'
Pachuca goes because they win the champions league, not cause they are the most capable team of representing Mexico.
True to an extent as I stated previously in "Perhaps in the CWC, but out of the teams that actually competed, Pachuca was better. Hopefully you made a mistake with the bold because Pachuca is the best team Mexico has had in terms of international performances."
Pachuca has definitely not been impressive in this tournament I concede that. To be honest though, no Mexican club has really had a good CWC since Necaxa's decent performance a decade ago and that was under a different format of course. Anyway subs to Pachuca at least making the final this time around.
Pinches chivitas siempre envidiosas porque su equipo no esta ahi haha. Anyway hopefully los Tuzos do great things this time.
Um yes it does, necaxa still holds the best performance than any other mexican club in this tourney. In the old format you actually played more games than you do now, you had to qualify out of your group. Necaxa beat some australian team, tied manchester united 1-1, lost by one goal to vasco de gamma. Then tied 1-1 against real madrid in which they went into penaltys and necaxa beat real madrid 3-4 in pen's for the 3rd place title. Pachuca has nothing on that please dont even compare son.
