Dang Albert, I actually repped your comment after reading the first sentence, then unrepped it after reading "I'll go again..." To be honest, I'd like to go again this year. Really, a soccer game at Dick's on a nice summer evening is one of my favorite pastimes. But I cannot support the current effort, formation, roster (particularly starters), etc. I can pay for the Serna's and Sjoberg's of the world; I will not pay for the Boateng's and McBean's.
Well, each unto his own, I guess. I have a family, if I don't go to soccer games, I have to hang out with them.
Kidding of course, I usually go with my son. Last game took wife and son, had a great time. Lost 2-1, but it is still more entertaining than the league was years ago when it was all lame families like me and 0-0 ties.
I just realized we play Saturday night. After 4 world cup games that day, I'm really not interested. I understand they can't take the whole world cup off, but I'm pretty surprised they are playing Saturday.
