Officiating was pretty bad both ways. The AR on the near side was out of position all night, sometimes in our favor and sometimes against.
It looked like a kickabout on YouTube where we could have won by 5 or lost by 5 and not seriously cared. A random lineup generator game with a random lineup generator result.
Was at DSGP for the first half, but left at the half because my son's allergies were really bothering him and the Rapids were down two goals. Until OKC scored the Rapids generally had them pinned down in the final third but seemed content to hit hopeful crosses in that really weren't threatening. That first OKC goal came precisely because the Rapids were building up with everyone pushed up at or beyond the mid-line. It was a goal helped by a Rapid (Castillo?) who missed a tackle. The goal gave the Energy, well, more energy and they were now playing with confidence. With the Rapids down by two goals the few in attendance gave a hardy "boo" as the whistle. Great that the guys figured out how to pull out the win in the second half. It was fun watching the live stream late in the match when Castillo scored the winner off the Powers corner.
Watched the highlights, gosh first half was terrible and second half OKC looked like they gave up. Good to see a come back win, hope this builds confidence for the team, but hard to imagine the team getting another victory against a real squad that cares.
How did Anthony Wallace look? That's gotta hurt, being cut adrift by the Rapids, only to see the revolving door of left backs.
