OKC beat the Switchbacks 2-1 tonight in the Springs, saving us from a 3rd year of hosting the Switchbacks in our first game. Instead we get to see a new team in OKC, which includes MLS Cup 2010 winner Anthony Wallace on their back line.
Both teams in this match have a lot in common. Both come from cities that hope to have a MLS team some day.

Given that the Rapids are in dire need to win like crazy in MLS matches and they have had.have a lot of injuries this game will likely see a mixed lineup including some guys like Perez and Castillo who have returned from their loan deals for Tuesday night and Boateng who is returning from injury. Howard and Williams won't play and I would bet Gashi won't either. Perhaps we'll see a bit of Sjóberg and Watts as well? Oh, and McMath or Berner in goal. Outcome? I have no idea. But I do hope the players how get on the pitch play with intensity and poise.

It was a great night to take the dog for a walk! Hoping for great weather and a spirited team against Portland. Rod.
I didn't pay complete attention, but thought Powers looked better than he has in a while and Serna seemed out of place at left back.
