TV: Spectrum SportsNet, SpectrumDeportes VENUE: StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium MLS teams enter the 4th round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup These scum, OCSC, are LAFC's USL team so everyone try to come out and support our boys in case a lot of have-nots make that lengthy, arduous journey south. We don't want to be out-shouted in our house... even though it'll be the track stadium... and we won't hear the end of it if we lose to these punks. I just hope we take this tourney seriously now. With only three days until our next game though, will Curt play a mainly GII side? Jelle is out for our next MLS match so, we'll see him playing and hopefully destroying some young souls. Any bets on whether Sorto scores on us?
After reading this, I was interested to see who was on the OCSC team. That lead me to look up other USL rosters. Interesting to see who is still out there playing. Donovan Ricketts on Tulsa???
They have actually played twice thus far. In the game at home on April 22, the teams tied 1-1 and the only senior roster players in the 18 for the GIIs were Diallo (who played the whole match) and Lassiter (who came in at the 60th minute). Very young team otherwise. Lineup: LA Galaxy II: Bennett Sneddon, Bradley Diallo, Jean Engola, Hugo Arellano, Ian Lonergan; Adrian Vera (Jake Arteaga 66’), Ryo Fujii (c), Alex Juarez, Jorge Hernandez (Zico Bailey 82’); Johnathan Estrada (Ariel Lassiter 60’), Ethan Zubak Substitutions not used: Eric Lopez, Jose Agredo, Robert Castellanos, Eric Payeras In the game at OCSC on May 6, they did lose 4-0 with a lineup full of fringe senior roster players, but three goals were scored against them in a 6 minute stretch midway through the first half that included a PK after a handball in the box, a botched header clearance by Lopez (in his first ever start for the GIIs) that was volleyed back into the empty net, and an own goal by a Galaxy Academy player Lineup: LA Galaxy II: Eric Lopez, Hugo Arellano, Robert Castellanos, Ian Lonergan, Alex Juarez; Jose Villarreal, Raul Mendiola, Ryo Fujii, Bradford Jamieson IV; Ariel Lassiter, Ethan Zubak Substitutions not used: David Preys, Jean Engola, Andre Zanga, Jorge Hernandez, Jonathan Hernandez, Adrian Vera

I wonder if Jermaine Jones will make his return for this game. Could be a way to gauge his progress and bring him along slowly, while bringing a veteran first team presence to a squad that's likely to be pretty young. They could then leave him off the 18 (or bring him off the bench) for the Houston game before rotating him in again at his old stomping grounds next Wednesday in Colorado.

One goal scored for our six offensive players combined in G1 and G2 games this year... Guys like McBean, BJ4 and Jose Villarreal aren't exactly in full confidence right now.
