Anyone else think there's a donnybrook coming in the 2nd half? Referee has done nothing to calm down the chippy crap (How the hell do both Kobayashi and Higuan not both get yellow?). I'd bet we'll see at least two red card fouls (maybe no red cards given the clueless Mr. Bozakos) in the 2nd half.

More importantly, is that a hanging booger or did Brad get a nose piercing?

so that is possibly a DOGSO on mike. I'd be willing to be that if it had been further up the field it would have been Red

Awful is the only word for this one. Awful play by the Revs, awful job by the ref (not that it affected the game, he was equal opportunity crappy).

The good news ..... this crapfest wasn't a nationally televised game.

Well, another lethargic game. Hopefully we snap out of this at some point before August

Nostra-freakin-damus. But hard to see the mental fragility kick in after 4 minutes.

    A few assorted thoughts.
    • I'm happy Alston didn't see the field and both Hall and Daigo started. Yes, it wasn't the end result we wanted but Heaps appears to have learned from Sunday. That's a good sign.
    • Unfortunately, Rowe started and was predictably useless.
    • Why did he play Bunbury up top? Didn't make sense.
    • Sitting Davies was understandable given how many minutes he has played recently.
    • Still waiting for Agudelo to show up and play well consistently, although it's hard when he's stuck out on the wing where he's not as effective.
    • Agree with others, the ref was awful, as was the overall play on the field.
    • Life, death, taxes and an Andy Dorman yellow card are the only certainties in life.
Let the mediocrity continue - the revs are now a devilish 6-6-6. Moving on to the next one.

Did Heaps really think the team he rolled out last night had any chance of winning? Does ANYBODY mark up players in the goal area or are they just free to have a whack at net? Terrible, game plan, terrible execution. Heaps really should go

I understand wanting to sit players but there could have been a better way. Playing Teal up top where he has never done anything did not accomplish anything. Leave him where he has been most effective. Start Diego outside and play Juan up top where he may be more comfortable. For God sakes leave Rowe on the bench. Better yet why not start Davies, press for the lead (and keep it) and make a defensive sub in the second half. On another note looking at the bench the Revs had does not send warm fuzzies up my spine. This team is in need of a talent injection. Its obvious that if Davies goes down this team has no center forward. I am not a fan of Agudelo playing the role Davies does in this system although he has done a better job than Teal.

He looks out of place up there because he is. The Revs fans figured that out last year earlier than Heaps did (but I know, I know, Heaps is sooooooooooo much smarter than us and we could NEVER be right). Heaps finally did figure it out last year, but has decided to try it again and again this year. Luckily, about 10-15 minutes in, it seemed like Bunbury (who was a freakin' turnover machine early in that game) was finally returned to the wing.

This team just isn't good without Jones. The sum of the parts should be better than their record shows, so then either the players are failing or the Coach is.

Also, for all the talk about how much depth we have, that's just a laugher. We had one real striker available yesterday, two if you want to count Agudelo. We already know our defensive depth is laughable.

Where's that accountability that you promised us Bilello? Must be nice for these guys to have jobs where there's absolutely no fear of failure.

And this from the President of the org, I'll let you judge if this is OK to post...

I guess I shouldn't have revealed my strategy....

At least I was wrong about the Alston part, although Hall did an admirable imitation. Who knew Woodberry would be so indispensable?

My prediction for Saturday: despite a sloppy performance, Revs will eek one out, just so that the FO thinks there is nothing wrong and the status quo continues.

I actually thought Hall looked better for the most part than recent Alston performances. Maybe I saw what I wanted to to see.

I was pleased to hear Feldman referring to the Revs being in a 4 game in 10 day stretch last night and that Columbus had last weekend off. It's begun.

I wonder if he does that for other teams that come to Foxboro (I honestly don't know).

What he's not complaining about the missed handling offense/non PK call????

Bozakos just sucked last night. It wasn't unidirectional.
