P/I/P Rapids v Dallas 9/27

'Celo ranting about what I thought was a good call. The "front" foot of the Dallas attacker looked behind Burling and Howard to me

 

I think it was a good call despite what 'Chelo repeated +/- 15 times, camera angle was not straight across the offside line and Howard was out while second to last defender played him offside by just a little. With players moving both directions it really is critical to get the 'snapshot' when the ball is played.

 

We are down 2-0 with little to no offense, but have two like-for-like subs.

It's a bit shocking to say, but we actually appear worse organized with Pablo gone.

 

I just got home, sped through the game. Do you think Williams was on the take? He let that cross go by on the first goal intentionally. And then so slow on the second. Just a theory.

 

There was talk that Cooke did most of the tactical work in practices under Pabo. Our results since he took over seem to lend weight to that rumor.

That stadium looks more like a HS Football stadium then I remembered. Looks alright for watching soccer, but with the roof it really does look like a HS stadium.

I can't imagine anyone paying him to throw a game. He does that for free. I'm still struggling with why the Rapids pay him.
