Don't they play tomorrow? Roster prediction: MacMath Miller-Sjoberg-Watts-Burch Azira-Cronin Hairston-Power/Gashi-Badji Doyle I personally think Powers played well last game, but if Gashi is ready to go, Powers takes a seat. Instant upgrade honestly.
Supposed to be a downright tropical 30 degrees tomorrow in Harrison. I don't know what that means for playing conditions, but I'd be inclined to rest any of the "iffy" players that have been dealing with injuries. Scoreline wise I don't think three points is realistically on the table. I'd be happy with a draw.
If Gasjhi plays, it will be as a Sub. Hope that Powers can turn back the clock, this version is just not playing time worthy.
Rev's cancelled their game with Orlando today (playing tomorrow) for 20 degree forecast, wonder if that is in consideration for our game?
Not sure, but I don't think that is the case. Reports have said that the orange balls were only ordered for New England, Minnesota, and KC. It's snowing in Harrison today, but I don't think any snow is expected for tomorrow.
Red Bulls in the snow? Sounds familiar, so I'll say 0-1, goal by Badji. Having watched both CCL games against the Whitecaps and some of the opener against Atlanta, it doesn't look like RBNY have quite come together just yet.
Sounds like RBNY will try to clog up the middle thus ceding space on the wings, much like we saw last week v NE. What they will apparently do differently is put a lot of high pressure and look to win the ball and turn it quickly into an attack. So it will be interesting to see if the Rapids can get the ball into space on the wings and then cross the ball effectively. Or, more likely get something off a free kick. As someone stated above, with the snow and cold it's doubtful we'll see Howard. And if Gashi playes it will be as a second half sub.
Given weather someone will score and rest of time they will just try and stay warm. Hopefully the Rapids will be the team to score. Also, zero chance Gashi or Howard play.
Doyle out, does he have a concussion ("head")? Good thing Gordon's out, too. Bench for #Rapids96:Williams, Gashi, Serna, MacMath, Perez, Boateng, BurlingNot available: Doyle (head), Gordon (back) pic.twitter.com/nv6CpA7Mzx— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) March 11, 2017 (Edited.)
