It didn't look like anything was wrong with Enzo. Could the move actually have been tactical? Serna has certainly been aggressive.

Serna has been active. Seems to definitely be more aggressive and engaged offensively than Enzo. I like the move. And I like the decisiveness to pull the trigger on the sub early too.

Did the Rapids make a coaching change and not tell anyone? Whatever is going on, it is a ton better than the first 19 1/4 games.

I am not wondering how SJ has won so few matches this season.

We got good Timmy tonight. Several key, point blank saves.

I genuinely don’t understand how Boli is not better than McBean.

Hell, at least even comparable to McBean.

The Rapids got caught in stupid foul territory again.

This; we're losing by a couple w/o him, I've called him past his sell by date but tonight he is fresh (no GK was getting that PK).

Glad it wasn't just my feed or e.q.
Seemed like the Rapids interns were controlling the audio ...

Slow reaction on defense leads to an offside to save a goal.

Jackson for Hairston? 3 in the back now for a 3-4-3? Or maybe Serna to RB?

That HAS to be in the net. Poor header over from Jackson.

It’s impressive that we’ve had two shots within six yards of goal, dead center, and neither ended up being a goal.

And now a hockey game breaks out. Salinas out for being an idiot after Serna's tactical foul which rightly got him a caution.

And now SJ sub in a dude named Florian. While I would never have named a son Florian, I like that name for some reason.

Boatang came close once and finished when it mattered. He's had two good games in a row. Again, who ARE these guys?????

I'm guessing that Jackson maybe needs to spend some time practicing six-yard uncontested headers?

Ford had a tough day . . . pen, handball, YC, giveaways in really bad spots.

Nicholson went to the Nico Hernandez school of "huh?" several times tonight.

DisCo may look at the "mass confrontation" issues following Salinas' WWE moment.

Salinas is a thug. I never liked him.

Wondolowski, on the other hand, is impossible to dislike.

FWIW my player rankings on a 1-10 scale where 5 is what I would expect from a typical MLS player at that position.

Timmy - 6 - made every play he could be expected to make. Few if any GKs get that PK.
Smith - 7 - anytime a CB scores and doesn't make any major gaffes in the back he gets at least 7.
Ford - 4 - solid except unnecessary tackle conceding a PK.
Castillo - 5 - some good runs forward that didn't lead to anything.
Hairston - 5 - no big errors, nothing real good going forward.
Price - 6 - managed things well in the middle and NO YELLOW CARD
Nana - 7 - good all game and GWG!!
Acosta - 6 - good all game and assist for Smith's goal.
Serna - 6 - good energy and helped in 2 very different roles off the bench.
    Enzo - 4 - nothing much
Gashi - 5 - ok off the bench
McBean - 3 - just gives us nothing
Jackson - 4 - got to convert that header
Nicholson - 5 - lots of effort but no end product

    Other input welcome.

I drove from Co. Spgs. to Tulsa today, so mostly through Kansas. Forgot the time zone difference and missed the first half but started the stream just before the PK. I expected a lackluster draw but ended up getting a late goal for the win. Nice to have after a day full of driving in Kansas.

Good goal good game. Fight was fun, Price tried really hard to get his obligatory yellow card. Could not go tonight, watched on tv on delay, I like this woman commentator, Jordan Angelo, so much more than Balboa. Nothing against Balboa personally, but he's not great at commentary.

Boateng has little talent, two plays I would have yellowed him, but a heckuva goal. Acosta was not good today. Sorry, he is our future, but his energy was low and passes equal to his energy. Nicholson had a lot of energy, lousy touches. He was poor.

We complain about Timmy, but he saved our bacon today. Serna added to the offense. Smith is fearless on corners, And for the second game, it was fun to watch. It was a fun game. Go Rapids.
