Good thing I picked the pom pom hat as my season ticket package swag.

Giles Barnes replaced him and, despite coming in cold, put a sweet cross on the head of Cyle Larin for the only goal of the game.

That must be what depth looks like...

With Kaka and Larin injured, and a relatively cold day to discomfort Orlando, it should be our day..... But why do I see the Spector of Defeat hanging over the Revolution?....;)

The revs should win this one. Of course, they rarely do what they're supposed to do.

    Battle of the diamonds.

if Nguyen can't go, I want to see Rowe at a-mid and Agudelo back at striker. Rowe will make those runs past the strikers behind the defense that Nguyen doesn't like to make, and that Heaps wants from Agudelo.
if Tierney can't go, I'd prefer Donne Smith.

    Agudelo-Kamara
    Rowe
    Fagundez-Caldwell
    Watson (or Herivaux?)
    Smith-Angoua-Delamea-Farrell

Is Tyranny hurt, or are you just advocating that we use some of our deep bench to spread the minutes around? I don't suppose Kouassi is remotely ready to go, even as a second half sub?

Wow, who would have thunk that two starters being injured would cause all this trouble by only the second game! Imagine if we get a player or two on yellow card accumulation and someone else is injured or otherwise unavailable? No pressure on Burns though. We're on the cusp.

Tierney was subbed off so I'm assuming there's a possibility he's out.
Still - that lineup is not a big drop from our starting 11 last week.

It's ok the revs are incredibly deep at defense, they've got Donnie Smith

Smith gets no love. I'm not sure why. He's not as good crossing as Tierney obviously. But I haven't seen him cost us a goal in MLS or Open Cup play and his speed is a real asset both offensively and defensively. When I've seen him play, he does not look out of place to me at all.

Tierney didn't play a lot in preseason, which is why I suppose he was subbed off.

Orlando is not a particularly good team, particularly with Kaka out. I expect we'll see Larin, though.

I'm going to go with the home team here. The Revs can't lose every game, can they?

Well, this is one for the taking, that's for sure. After that it's away to Dallas, so I don't expect much from that one. 0-3 would be a hell of a way to start the season for a team "on the cusp." But there's hope, at least we have Minnesota after that...

Well I am going to go with the home team this week. Cold, possible snow, no Kaka, playing a team that is not use to this type of weather. Heaps may have to change the lineup of Lee is not ready. Looking at an unspectacular 1-0 Revs win. Kei gets his first

I have never missed a game due to weather but I am seriously considering sitting this one out. My old bones can't take this as much as they used to :)

I have a double header ... sit out in the cold for this, and then rush off to Tsongas for Hockey East semis. At least it will be warm for the hockey game! ;)

My initial plan is to go and see how I feel at half time. The wind chill scares me more than the initial temperature though.

Will this have a chance to be one of the coldest games ever for the Revs in Foxboro? My memory is as weak as my bones these days :)
