Revs can't count on Cincy to help again by beating CHI this week. Need to take all 3 points in Foxboro.

Cant the Revs get a non-PRO ref for once? Might actually get a fair shot to win

Hope to see Bunbury starting this week. I don't know if he's a direct factor, but our offense seemed to be finding more chances before we lost him to injury.

Rowe with the start alongside a hodgepodge of a lineup that is more regular starter than not but not by much (6-5). We go Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday so some of the folks with more miles on their legs stayed in Utah (Beckerman, Rimando, Onuoha, Rusnak).

Good, but not good enough yet.

Im sorry but were pathetic. Diego lays off a perfect ball for Bou and he puts it in row 30. The story of the game. We couldnt score on an open net.

I think the look on Arena's face when the camera shows him says it all

Kudos to RSL for a doggedly defensive match. The Revs continue to lack coherent attack. More Revs like Gill & Bou would make a HUGE difference. In fact, those two make the difference now, helped by occasional game savvy support - just occasional. Revs defense held the day, but still a patchwork crew.

Not good enough. Nice passes, and flows at times, much more offense than RSL, BUT if you can't score you won't win.

We are on our way out of the playoffs at this rate. Orlando has Cincy and Chicago left...and only trail us by 2 points (assuming they hold their lead on Houston.) I'd say we need at least 5 points from 3 games to ensure a way through...giving up 4 points the last 2 games where we dominated is likely going to haunt us. (Not to mention the points we gave up under Friedel!)

I can't see us tieing our way into the playoffs. Though our opponents are helping make that work. .

Bunbury and Penilla are grown men that need to shoot with their left foot.

Man did RSL play to draw the game.

I agree that shots on target need to increase in proportion to total shots

This was the classic "game of inches." Agree with the sentiments already posted that we weren't good enough in the first half, but I thought the second half linking play was much better. Also, dumping on Bou for Khano'ing the missed 18 yard shot is a bit harsh. I don't remember him squandering too many chances.

To be fair, we were in a deep hole when Arena took over. I can live with it if we don't make the playoffs because the trend line is going up. Give Arena an offseason.

I think we will learn more from who Arena cuts, then who stays. He may see something in several players that we are missing.

I feel we would be better off not making the playoffs. That should give a little more urgency to revamping the team. And the borderline players will slide to the not quite good enough side. If we make the playoffs, they will fall on the I guess they are good enough side.

Another huge crowd, another disappointing result.

1 win in the last 8 now. Not really much good to say about that game.

    Wondering why Bou didn't start?

Bunbury showed a lot of rust.

Agudelo brought a little spark initially, then kind of faded into the background - as usual.

That Kelyn Rowe guy was just a bundle of energy starting off the game.

Two shots off the woodwork in a scoreless game. Oof.

The difference between how quickly Bou and Gil can get a shot off and everyone else is staggering. Good MLS defenses will just not give attackers as much time as Agudelo, Bunbury, etc. seem to need.

Would have liked to see JF Caicedo left on instead of Bunbury, but I think Arena is intent on getting Bunbury back to %100 conditioning ASAP.

Biggest crowd of the year and we played into the 'boring' cliche of soccer.

Bottom line - not good enough.

Also FDA reported in Sunday Globe game column that it was "knee injury".
