We should see a good effort tonight. Several of these players have been playing scared. Agudelo, Fagundez, Bunbury.
In a toilet bowl between 2 of the worst teams in the league the revs grabbed a win taking advantage of some favorable home field officiating. I hope the result does not take any pressure off Burns
All 3 looked reborn last night. I know its only one game but it looked like a different team. Wouldnt surprise me is Burns just let Lapper stay. He certainly has the experience.... more than either BF or Heaps
Burns may be a terrible GM, but he's not stupid. Fire the coach before you play a weak team in bad form...get a bounce result and buy yourself more time AND be able to pass blame onto the old coach. 10 games from now, not much will likely have been changed, but the current heat will have dissipated and he'll be near the next trade deadline.
Exactly!!!! This is what he's been pulling this crap as long as I can remember. He's not stupid but those above him certainly are stupid as they keep accepting this bulls#*t as the way things should be.
I wasn't able to watch the game, but I was able to listen to some of it on the radio. It brought a smile to my face when I heard, loud and clear, the Fort singing the "Fire Burns" song. Well done!
