True. But I think the team is pushing it's luck in that regard. Despite the hot mess in the first half, I guess you would have to say that the Fire game was entertaining - certainly more than the Philly match. BUT too many more "phiilys" will begin to erode that support.
Are you suggesting the critics are the problem or that we don't suck? If it's that we are being too critical are you saying fans be ok with the team already losing as many home games this season as it had in the two previous seasons combined? Are we wrong to vent after a quarter of the season has been played and we are still 18th out of 22 teams in pts/gm? Is it "uneducated" to note that despite playing two-thirds of our games at home we are averaging only 1.1 g/gm and giving up 1.7 g/gm? If we turn around then great. But the fact is that right now we do suck (see standings for verification). Don't shoot the messenger.
Clarification: comments about LA fans, and StubHub "atmosphere." I replied to a comment about our crowds. Clearly our team sucketh.
And I might have been a bit defensive there. I think I'm subconsciously feeling a tiny bit guilty about being so critical of the team even though I think both my preseason and in season assessments have been pretty accurate.
