I predict at least one disallowed goal for the G's. Beyond that, I have no idea... Just glad we're getting the Texas trips done before deep Texas summer hits.
I was going to go to this game, but then Zlatan happened. I should have bought my tickets before we signed him. Prices have tripled on 3rd party sites, and the dynamo blocked ticket sales on their site. It's pretty frustrating. I guess I will have to go to the Dallas away game.
'It's all about us. We need to do more, much more,' Ibrahimovic said to ESPN. 'It's unacceptable, it's not okay, to lose three home games. This is the first time I lose three games in a row, so that is not only about me; it's a team effort. 'We need to do much more, that's for sure. We need to wake up' The Swede is the club's top scorer so far this season with three goals but two of those came on his debut. LA Galaxy currently sit in fifth in the Western Conference with 10 points from eight games and are beginning to fall adrift from the top of the table. 'I always say it's the small details that makes the difference,' Ibrahimovic continued. 'The small details that you don't see is the important details. [Whether] we play 4-4-2, 4-3-3, who plays, it doesn't matter. We need to follow the same path and the philosophy. We just need to find each other more and make it easy for each other. 'I don't know from last year to this year [what] the team needs, so I can't judge in that way. But today was better but it was not enough because I don't like to lose and it's not good to lose.'
Amazing how really good players happen to also be the ones who care the most. Keane cared more about winning than most of his teammates. Last season RA played harder and with more passion than the rest of the team and absolutely hated losing. It doesn’t help that the Galaxy have released our most passionate players with regularity. Juninho, Sarvas, Penedo, AJ - they gave LAG every ounce of energy and skill they possessed and left it all on the field every game. But their passion for the Galaxy got them little loyalty in return. The long term result is we have built a team that often seems to just be going through the motions to collect their paychecks. And I’m not just referring to Gio.
Makes it hard to follow a team when they keep dealing away the the heart and soul of a team. Don't forget about Magic Mike being dealt for RR. Also still don't understand Bruce's thought process in breaking the very successful CB duo of Omar and AJ. The Gs still hasn't recovered from that one IMO. Waiting for Romain and Ema to be dealt. If they are and Gio and Jona and kept, I would stop following the Gs.
If I recall correctly Magee was leading the team in goals when he was traded. I was talking to 2 guys after the trade and they told me how great it was and that Magee was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time when he scored all those goals. I didn't argue the point but I knew those guys didn't know what they were talking about.
Ok, so up next is Houston a middle of the board team but really only 2 points away. Given our penchant for playing well away and our improvements we should be able to handle Manotas and the eternal Beasley. Same formation with maybe switching Ola and Ibra. I mean if Ibra is going to slot passes with that pinpoint accuracy to Ola like that then I would say lets pursue and enhance that by playing Ibra behind Kamara. Just a thought. I hope the team keeps in mind that Houston has a killer streak to them. They are the ones that gave TFC bench that 5-1 drubbing which set a record and if they do not remember which was the team that beat Atlanta 4-0 when Atlanta tried to phone one in, yep, it was Houston. Needless to point out this is a 6 point game. Just win.
Same lineup from last weekend : Galaxy XI: David Bingham; Dave Romney, Michael Ciani, Jorgen Skjelvik, Ashley Cole ©; Sebastian Lletget, Perry Kitchen; Romain Alessandrini, Giovani dos Santos, Ola Kamara; Zlatan Ibrahimović— Adam Serrano (@AdamSerrano) May 5, 2018 Jona on the bench.

I don’t understand VAR. how many times have we been told that VAR can’t nullify offside? Now it happens against us. I don’t understand this bullshit.
