Bad VAR moments, but we dug our own grave with the defense. Can't blame anyone on that but ourselves.
Zlatan welcome to parity in Europe the big clubs always win, they always get the calls. Here in America that status quo does not exist.
Ughh!! Ciani and Cole were out best defenders and they are old. Our younger faster guys are utter crap. I think we should seriously move at least 2 big money guys for some consistent defenders. I am looking at the Dos Santos brothers.
We really need to look at South America or maybe Eastern Europe for defenders what we have now is crap and cannot continue this way.
I mean, we got two goals disallowed in Chicago thanks to VAR : first is still questionable, second was reviewed because Ola was in an offside position but didn't touch the ball (ref got it right). And you don't use VAR on this PK call? Our defense is already bad, don't let the refs punish them more.
That game sucked and blew. It’s so hard to support a team that is so leaky in the back. You can never feel like a result will happen. God damn it!
The redbull commentators swore it was a bad call. They thought the ball came off of his back and feel LA got screwed.
Ciani had a very good game. Now let's see if he can play like this the whole season. If he can't, RB + CB are the most important positions to fill this summer. Kamara was solid on the wing, I was surprised. These two home losses showed one thing IMO : Jona is one of our most important player, if not the most. I like Lletget in the middle (still better than Husidic), but Jona is something else.
I was at game so couldn’t tell but do I have this right? The pk against us was BS AND Zlatan was onside for our third goal? Are you ********ing kidding me? VAR is supposed to prevent teams from being screwed over.
Only positive is that I found a way around the spectrum blackout through a vpn. Bad news is I see that terrible defensive display. The penalty looked to hit him on the ribs armpit area. It wasn't clear but if it isn't clear I don't think it's a pk.
Yep IF we don't have serious scouts out right now scouring the other leagues and MLS for trade deals they don't deserve to be called scouts. 2 solid and consistent aquisitions and this team is transformed overnight.
Not sure I can agree on Ciani... But definitely agree on the rest. Kamara on the wing surprised me too. Loved that he took extra time to practice on that this week.
I would prefer to keep JDS too but if his brother goes he is not going to want to stay so he can go too if we have no choice. We are low on funds as a team so we may have no choice but to give up at least one person of real value to make this happen but we will not win anything we our current defense.
The inconsistency of the the refs using VAR is stupid. Take away two goals, ok fine. But be fair for both sides.
We are not low on funds MLS aka "Da Man" is keeping us down with the salary cap rule. We do have the cash I don't doubt it but everyone except NYCFC would cry bloody murder and threaten to quit operating in our top tier. They just want to be considered major league with out major money.
Remember 2006 when LA was god awful and so they hired a new coach with 2 MLS Cups and built a new team and went on to be pretty terrible. Then they signed a big name Euro who scored on his debut against a bitter rival and kept being pretty bad. I’m guessing we get Ronald Koeman or Alan Pardew as manager in 2019.
