April Fools Day BC Place TV: Spectrum SportsNet, SpectrumDeportes Well, Vancouver hasn't won at home yet either. Lets hope we can get another rare road win and that it won't take an opponent sent off to do it. We'll possibly have all starters back(sans Rogers) and we can start to build some fluidity... though maybe the turf will delay some returns.
Am going to take a step back and see how the team plays. To be honest, I don't think that the win over RSL had anything to do with Onalfo and had more to do with the players finally digging themselves out of that tactical mess.
Gio, Gyasi and Cole "could be" available for this match. http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2017/0...des-update-giovani-dos-santos-ashley-cole-and CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy are progressing on the injury front during the international break. Gyasi Zardes and Ashley Cole have each participated in full training this week, while Giovani dos Santos has worked out to the side during practice. Per LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo, all three players are moving forward and could be in his plans on April 1 when his squad travel to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC. “If everything goes as planned, they should all be available,” Onalfo told LA Galaxy Insider. “That would mean that we’re the first time that we’re close to full strength and that’s encouraging. In the process, we’ve gotten guys critical minutes and performed well now we just have to keep doing well and getting results.”

Well, if LLetget was going to play in this game, he likely won't now as he went down 17' in the US-Honduras match. "Left ankle injury" is the early report.
Off topic, but I just want to say, I absolutely hate Spectrum. I really hope we get picked up by a different station next season.
I don't agree at least for Torrance where I think that its somewhat better . Phone support was terrible and still is. By contrast the service techs who come out are more likely to do something and tell the truth, something they never did under TWC. Internet speeds are still not what even close to what we pay for. However, the television product line has improved, a couple of examples. TWC downgraded many channels that were broadcast in HD to SD. For example FS2 has been in HD in my area since Spectrum took over. Under TWC the channel was always in SD except for a brief period where the games from the 2014 WC were in HD. Ditto premium channels like HBO2. The Spectrum TV app on Roku 2 or higher is much better than the TWC equivalent. I was able to get rid of the Digital Television Adapter in one room and get better options. The service technicians were willing to discuss what needed to be done to replace my whole house DVR with a Tivo system. I am still thinking that one over.
Update on Lletget: http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2017/0...rain-no-significant-damage-us-victory-insider Sprained ankle. No serious damage. But also no word on if he'll be ready by Saturday.
I don't know how they can claim this before he sees the specialist tomorrow. If its a high ankle sprain he could be out quite a while.
I only have basic cable services with the sports package, which btw doesn't include Fox Soccer Plus, GOL TV or ONE World Sports. I'm just across the 110. Do you get any picture freezing or audio cutting out? I had several channels completely cut out on my inside receiver for a while and one day everything just stopped working and every piece of equipment was replaced yet, I still get choppy picture/audio freezing at times. It happened occasionally before but, at work where we need service constantly, the internet drops out a lot more often now.

I haven't seen the issues that you have except for the internet issue. I own my own cable modem and wireless router, which the service reps say are better than their integrated unit. My internet doesn't go down that i can tell, however ot frequently slows to under 40mbps when I am paying for 300. My best guess is that Spectrum does regular remote service which leaves both devices very slow until I reboot both of them. They don't say that my theory is wrong and the reps hint that is the problem. Apparently they don't reboot customer owned equipment, even if they can. As for TV, the only problem I have had is with channels that are switched. So all of the main channels would be fine but others like Being sports 1 & 2 would be out. This last happened about a month ago. They claimed it was the wiring and rewired a lot of my interior cable runs but ultimately they said that it was definitely not the in-house equipment or the wiring. They claimed that the problem was in a citywide distribution hub. It almost seemed like the reps had to prove the bigger problem to management. From what I was told, they have a lot of old infrastructure.Anyway, 2 days later the problem went away.
Lleget out 4-6 months. http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2017/03/28/la-galaxy-midfielder-sebastian-lletget-undergo-foot-surgery What a bummer. Good thing the Galaxy was promoting their story that "no serious injury" occurred to Lleget prior to him actually being examined. I mean WTF?
Adam should be getting heat for this. Its so easy to wait until he sees the specialist before reporting. To go from "nothing serious" to 6 months is embarrassing
The Caps trade of Manneh for Tchani shakes things up a bit. He's started 2 of the 3 games they've played thus far. https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/20...olumbus-tony-tchani?xid=socialflow_twitter_si
While you are right about it being embarrassing, I don't view Adam as a reporter. IMO, he is the Galaxy version of Baghdad Bob or more modernly Sean Spicer. . In each case their job is to spin the story a specific way.
He is a paid spokesman, but spin only works if you establish a certain modicum of credibility first. You can't misrepresent verifiable facts. I don't think this was a case of LAG telling him to spin the injury severity - but rather a simple error. They thought it was one thing and it turned out it was another. I think Adam was responding to a level of legitimate inquiry from LAG fans (We want to know and we want to know NOW). If they had said "we will let you know later" or words to that effect, you could just hear the screams coming from fans.
You may be right about this being a simple error, but I am not sure. In my career, at several major companies, management personnel never, absolutely never, wanted to hear about or announce a negative. It was always "happy news". They could be announcing a major downsizing, but it was structured in a way to make this a great new opportunity for the staff. FWIW, I worked the last 30 years of my career at sucessful, profitable companies that were giants in their respective industries and rated as some of the top companies in the nation and locally to work for. As for your second sentence. Who are you kidding? This happens all of the time, hence the Baghdad Bob and Sean Spicer references and they are just some of the examples at the most visible top of the lying iceberg.
