I just looked at the stats and indeed for G+A '98 Cobi edges out '18 Ibra by .004/90 (1.3483 v 1.3439)! Both totaled 32g+a but Cobi played 7 fewer minutes. But I was talking about points per game (2 pts goal, 1 pt assist) and Ibra is ahead on that measure: Cobi: 19g, 13a, 2136 min, 2.15 ppg Ibra: 22g, 10a, 2143 min, 2.27 ppg I'm pretty sure that Zlatan is the all time MLS leader on ppg. Josef Martinez ended up lower than either at 2.11 ppg last season, despite his 8 pk goal boost. (Drogba produced 2.38 ppg in his first half season with Montreal but that shouldn't be compared with full season production. For the hypothetical 'season ppg record' there has to be some reasonable minimum requirement, like say at least 1800 min=20 gm.) In conclusion: Both Cobi and Zlatan had the best scoring seasons in the history of MLS!
Here is a link to the game for those who need one. http://cdn.livetv.sx/webplayer.php?t=ifr&c=1136399&lang=en
Much props to Lletget for playing with the nasal fracture. That is nothing to sneeze at and it is appreciated by this fan. He is my masked hero for this match. Let's do this!
I’m here at game. Speed of play is significantly higher than first two games. Good to see. Hopefully, that leans in our favor.
We need Zlatlan. This game is screaming for his presence. We would have scored by with what we are getting into the box
The Loons are defending for there lives and now they are down 1. We better not give this game away on silly mistakes. This can easily be one of those games with a goal at 89 minutes against LA.
Well played. That's 2. I said Tiki Taco is about to return for this team people. I can't wait until we are 100% fit.
