I want to feel excited for this but it's tape delayed and half the squad is out.

Feels like the annual "save yourself 90 mins" game. Might even kill two birds with one stone and let this also be the annual "lose 4-0 away from home" game.

Agreed. I want to watch, but I don't want to watch. If I go out and watch Galaxy, Kings, and Lakers - what's the odd that they all lose?

 

Galaxy did hire Pierre Barrieu this year - he's a former USMNT trainer and he rode the players hard in preseason. Looks like a lot of them weren't ready for it - not an auspicious start. The players would possibly lose confidence in the training staff early with these results.

Seven defenders, two quick forwards... The plan looks simple.

 

And two goal keepers on the bench. It is interesting that they start Carrasco over Husidic.

 

I can't say I know much about high school volleyball but they seem pretty good.

 

I have a fishing show instead of the game. I'm following the directions of the Galaxy site for Cox in Orange County. Well, my fishing could use some improvement.

It's going to be interesting to watch us play a game with all the players actually trying, no matter the inexperience.
