Central midfield defense better. But, given who’s there (Carrasco & Corona), that's to be expected. Of course, this impacts our wild and free attacking mentality. Need to finish the few chances we get. Galaxy!
According to the playoffstats.com (less accurate than 538 but more info) our playoff prob drops from 88% to 71% if we lose this game. Actually goes up a sliver to 89% with a draw.
I don’t understand why we don’t look for Pavon more. If we can get him the ball, won’t it be easier to get it to our big target in Ibra? Makes no sense to bypass Pavon and lob long pass after long pass to Ibra.
Seriously the long ball to Ibra shouldn't have to be the go to anymore. We can build up with F Alvarez and especially Pavón
So you don’t have to even pretend to be playing the ball? Shoulder to shoulder applies when both players are playing ball, not to pointy ball style body slamming.
