BJ4 is a mixed bag. Sometimes a great play like on the first goal, but so many unnecessary turnovers.
He thinks he can beat MLS defenders for pure speed...not going to happen and then he runs into a corner and turns the ball over. Has to learn to pass and move.
It's Colorado but I don't care. So good to see them score goals again. Hoping for a shutout. Hope you guys at the game had fun.
I know it was CO, but I was really impressed with the team's defense tonight. They played cohesively and pressured as one unit. Great to see JJ buy into his role. Also, the 4 up top formation of Ema, BJIV, Gyasi, and Romain was exciting to see. Hope we get to see more of that because it seemed to actually provide the potential of the Gs scoring and being dangerous (which they did).
That was as hot and muggy a night game as I've ever experienced at Stubhub (or Home Depot) Center. But the sweat was worth it to see an actual win.... Even if it was against Colorado.
Dudes. We won. At home. Gyasi scored, had an assist and earned a PK. Jermaine was disciplined. Ema scored against a non-RSL. Romain was awesome in his first game back. Romney was excellent. Life is good. (Though it is freaking hot in Northern CA and I don't know what to do with myself it's so damn hot). But whatever. WE WON!!!!!!!!!!! We got to see @Dawdler post his image!!!!!! Good on the folks that went to the game. P.S. I liked that squad. Not sure where the Dos Santos bros go when they are back.
Seemed like it got hotter as the night wore on. Worth it to witness this anomaly. Pretty good atmosphere even with mediocre attendance. Gyasi is golden as long as he keeps his touches to 1 from 2 yards out.
