TV: Spectrum SportsNet, SpectrumDeportes One of two remaining home games out of 4 that we actually have a chance of winning... possibly... maybe...
Draw at home will be a huge success for current team, but we might win this one since Crapids are even worse team than us. If we win next game that will be our last win this season.
According to Corner of the Galaxy, the Dos Santos' and the MexNT "will face off against Panama on Friday, September 1, 2017, in Mexico City and then travel to Costa Rica to take on the Ticos on Tuesday, September 5." http://cornerofthegalaxy.com/2017/0...-2017-injuries-assistant-coaches-goalkeepers/ So out this match and maybe out for Seattle away 'cause turf.
The battle for the basement. Lets get it outta the way....only 9 games left of this muy el sucko season. My bar for this game is really low: no more season ending injuries finish the game with 11 players on the field and as bonus, get a VAR decision that goes FOR us I believe Cole will be back, so Diallo probably slots back into the right back position. I'm guessing Jones and Pedro central and deeper, Alessandrini as the republican and Boateng as the democrat (right and left wings... geddit?), Gyasi up top (because, ya know, he HAS to play!) with whoever Sigi wants to try out this week: Lassiter, McBean, McInerney or BJIV. And Kempin back in goal. He seems to be a decent young keeper, having to make a lot of stops in front of a porous defense, but he's been better than our other options to this point so I say stick with him for now.
Rick Lawes @ricklawes Aug 27 The LA Galaxy have been shut out in 4 consecutive home games for the first time in their 22-year history #LAvSJ
Please Rep this post to thank Berks for doing the dirty work and reporting such disheartening news to us.
We're gonna slaughter 'em! And, after the slaughter is over we're gonna come back here and ring that victory bell...just like we always wanted to.
We are gonna lose and keep on losing, the attendance should be non existent and having the club play in a near empty stadium will surely get the point across that this is totally unacceptable! AEG will have to react because if they don't, folks we are officially irrelevant! Sigi and the other guy will need at least a full season with players who actually know how to play football for us to see if it will work. I hope Klein finds a loan or permanent transfer for Zardes he is dead weight and utterly useless now, if it's mental he needs to leave and be somewhere were he will have nothing but football or decide to pursue other ventures. He is at a crossroad where it's either buckle down and act and train like a footballer or take your skunk hairdo and enter the workforce.
I don't think Zardes played poorly in the last game. In fact, I don't think most of the team played poorly. We were playing with 10 men.
So? -------------Zardes-----McBean------------ -Boateng---Pedro----Jones--Alesanndrini- ---Cole-----Steres----Romney---Diallo--- ------------------Kempin-------------------
Now that I've given up on the season, am I still allowed to be irked that I still haven't seen Romain, Gio, and Jonathan all on the field together yet? I mean, I know the game is meaningless, but last I checked, we are sucking, would it be too much to ask that we field a full strength team, just once? And maybe - here's a novel idea - try and keep all 11 men on the field? Yes I know there are good reasons it hasn't happened, but I don't care. I just am in a mood to be cantankerous until I see some good soccer at Stubhub. And, you, Chargers! Get off my lawn!
The Galaxy posted their “goal of the month” video. It's one goal from the Special Olympics team, two from GII and the only goal scored by a senior team player in August when Boateng scored against Portland – that seems like a long time ago. I can only assume they were contractually obligated to do so. I don't even have the heart to make fun of them on social media for posting such an embarrassing thing. Though if they dumped it on Friday evening at the start of a three day weekend and after a disappointing USMNT loss, good for them, at least the PR department have learned something about burying bad news.
