We are well underway with the week of the season that kills us. We have to win this match.

    I’m not confident.

Why not? It‘s not like we just allowed the worst team in both the east and west to increase their goals for stat by 10% in the space of five days.

At least Gio will be back /s

I had three minimum requirements for the season coming into it:

    1) Finish ahead of LAFC in standings -Status very doubtful
    2) Do not lose to LAFC -Status so far so good but not feeling confident about 7/26
    3) Make the playoffs, ideally in spots 3-4 to host the wild card match - Status LMFAO

This season is headed towards failure territory. I supported Sigi being brought in. I thought at the very least he'd build a stable defensive foundation. I'm deeply disappointed in what he (has not) accomplished in this regard. I mean Sigi and Dom are two coaches I've always held in high esteem, how can they not figure this out?

    Ridiculous.

When was the last time the Gs actually defeated CBus? I honestly can't remember. Always seems like a loss or a draw.

Every game the rest of the way will be a trap game.

    For the other team....

I pretty much agree with this everything except the last point. As I look at the team last night it struck me on how damn slow the team is. Cole at 37 was probably the second fastest Galaxy player on the pitch all night. I don't think there is anything a coach can do about that especially with established players.

Your right, but if we have the highest paid defense in the league, shouldn't we have bought some speed?

I get the distinct feeling the players just arent feeling it. You can pick apart this player and that player but look at that DC team that sits at the very bottom with really no chance to do much. They really only have a couple of gamechager in Mattoks and that little guy #10 but even so they come in a play with everything they have. even when we have them 2-0 they dont give up and they figure a way oiut of the hole. I was almost cheering for them. Short of a miracle signing or two to strengthen our back line to the point the rest of the team straightens their back for what reason does Galaxy want a playoff spot? Beating Bradley's team is all thats still good. Anything after that is just a long tryout for most of this team and who we want to keep or not. Coaches and FO included.

Unfortunately, we had to use up a season's worth of luck to achieve #2 on your list.

Berhalter's teams are always very organized, and they carry a lot of pace on the wings. I worry our fullbacks will get exposed and Columbus will run away with this one. Zardes is always moving the box and Ciani is always standing still. I don't see that ending well.

When Gyasi scores, does he celebrate in Sigi’s face?

I think he has a little more class than that.

Right now I am having a very hard time convincing myself that I want to go to this game at all.

Gonna be a toasty one. It's 92° in Carson right now and I keep seeing forecasts that tomorrow should be at most 5-7 degrees cooler.

I’ll be there tailgating and barbecuing in the hot sun. Maybe I’ll be too delirious to know what the final score is.

    Go Galaxy!

I predict a slow match. Even slower than usual for Galaxy. Low scoring. Hot as balls out there. First to score wins.

Got UFC on here, as well. Hope we win and can contain Gyasi...
