I would assume so.... The question now is do we have Zlatan or not. DisCo could still hand him another game of suspension if they want......
I was wondering about that. Isn't there a standard # of games in MLS for a straight red? In the EPL, he would be gone for 3 games automatically. But in MLS, maybe there is a special Zlatan rule?
So he'll be available then. That little poke to the back of the head was hardly worth a red, let alone additional suspension. And, well, it is Zlatan after all.
Definitely need these three points. I have a feeling we'll get lit up in Portland (Portland is hot + turf + short week)
Ola is playing with Norway for 2 friendlies. I think the first game is 6/2 so there is a chance he might already be gone by our 5/30 game....
TRAINING UPDATE: Zlatan Ibrahimovic trained with the club today despite MLS not giving the Galaxy an answer on whether they would suspend him another game.THEY PLAY IN TWO DAYS!Sigi’s Quotes:#LAGalaxy pic.twitter.com/BYFCOXQfeb— Corner Of The Galaxy (@GalaxyPodcast) May 28, 2018
Money talks. I would be surprised if Ibra gets more than 1 game suspension. He is filling stadiums. Galaxy, MLS flagship, adrift. No Ola. No DS. It would not take much of a push to send this team tumbling back down to the sellar. How is soccer, this team and/or the league to benefit from more punishment?
After a couple of squeakers the team should feel better. No more losing streak. I worry about dallas. they just beat the league champions at Toronto. Now I know TFC is on a tailspin but if I am dallas....I just beat the reigning champs in their home and now I have to go take care of business with a team I just beat two weeks ago... That's what Im bringing to the Stub if I am Dallas.
Points on the board aside, I’ve seen nothing in the past two weeks to suggest a pretty good FC Dallas team wouldn’t exploit the defensive frailties San Jose and Montreal were unable to.
This game will be the true test of whether getting a chance to beat some poor teams and gain some confidence has helped increase our overall level of play.
Anyone know if Dallas have anyone out for international/world cup/ suspension? EDIT - found the preview: https://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2018-05-30-la-galaxy-vs-fc-dallas/preview Suspended: D - Matt Hedges Suspended after next caution: None International duty: None Injury Report: OUT: D - Kris Reaves (sports hernia surgery), D - Anton Nedyalkov (broken collarbone) Hedges is a good defender. It's nice he's out.
Watched quite a bit of Dallas beating Toronto. Dallas knows how to pass the ball. I was envious. I think they will be hard to beat.
The news is that Zlatan will not be suspended for tomorrow. So at least we don't have to start Lassiter.
Buried in here it says Ola is leaving after tomorrow. That’s good news! https://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2018/...lder-efrain-alvarez-called-international-duty
So how does one get in touch with DisCo? That slap by Ibra was completely flagrant and not in the run of any play. Bad example for the children who watch this nonsense. he needs another game suspended imho.
Honestly, the penalty for a red card is severe. He earned it, but an extra game? Let's save that for more serious foul play.
This is a game we have to set our sights on winning if we want to be more than the best of the bad teams not making it to the playoffs.
Holy Crap, it's game-day already!!! Go Galaxy! (I hope we win) What does everyone think? Depending on health status and how well the guys have recovered from the short turnaround since Friday, what will be the starting lineup? Since Kamara is still with us, could we see: oLA--------------Zlatan--------Alessandrini -------------------Lletget ------------Carrasco----Kitchen Cole----Sjekldkfsndf---Ciani-----Romney ------------------Bingham
