Dos Santos was getting treatment on his hamistring today in his instagram story. Doubt he plays this weekend.

If Junihno is not the same player he was (which we knew from his time at the Fire) and Carrasco is above him in the depth chart. Why did we give him such a big contract?

I would rather see him instead of Carrasco.

    Edit
And we have to see Gonzalez start after that midweek showing...right?

So far we have seen Carrasco repeatedly favored by GBS when the Galaxy need a defense oriented midfielder. Juninho has shown nothing in his limited minutes. Carrasco actually rates above average when he gets time per Who Scored.

My faith in Corona is waning. Lletget is my new hopeful cause.

    I know.

I’m also hoping for the brain trust of the Twins and Dom to get Ibra some help.

    I wish.

NYC is feeling good about themselves.

Zlatan will put an end to that.

    Let’s Go Galaxy!

This has been a crazy stretch of games with very little time to rest. The guys are spent and it showed last match.

Three man defense, a little bit surprised to not see his beloved 4-3-3 from GBS.

I think, given the personnel restraints, this is a decent time to try at 532.

I think the line-up will work. I like Antuna up top anyway.

Both rookies are good going forward. I like the idea of providing protection behind them so they can go for it.

I like this look a lot. Let's hope it works much better than when we went 3 in the back last season.

Uh Oh. Many of us have been asking for this exact line up so now we have no one to blame but ourselves if it doesn’t work. But I sure hope it does.

I will say it is a good lineup for protection without JDS out on the field, since we have no one who can replace what he provides.

Admittedly small sample for Traore & Araujo and Gonzalez is mainly a resume at this point but it looks like it could be a very strong back five. Of course also 1st time they’ve played together...

It Gonzalez is as good as hoped he, Polenta and Steres will be a tough ass defensive spine. If Traore & Araujo cover their wing attackers I see shutouts in our future, especially after JDS returns. Still have to watch late runners in the center

Yep. Although Gonzalez has been with the team for a month now, so they’ve had some good training time together.

    1. Can tell the guys are learning the new formation as they play.

    2. Can tell the team misses JDS big time.

Certainly not working out this way. We are worse then second best to everything today. I’d say we are third best. Not sure how that is possible but. ...

    Araujo great so far.
Traore too casual, needs to speed up his decision making. Lot of missed tackles as well. Still better than Skjffrkk.
Lletget slows down play too much. Too much dribbling, not enough 1 & 2 touch passing.
Zlatans touch still not sharp. Fortunately he’s still big & strong.
Our midfield getting run over. Miss JDS.

And now they score despite being 3 on 4. :(

    And now handball. :(
