Badji has to finish chances like he had in the first half. He may not get another in this match. Enzo has a lot of energy and passion. Missing Gashi and Aigner in the attack - they would be an improvement.
3 defenders ball watching, Howard waves at it, Smith moves like my 60 year old dad to the back post in a failed attempt to save it. I'm hoping weather is to blame for the last two. Either way, cheap goal to concede - TTC barely had to earn it.
Collectively, the Rapids forgot what a "goal" looks like for the last 3 years. Give them at least 6 months to remember again.

Both goals we had more defenders in the box than Toronto has attackers and still they connect on a cross with plenty of time and space.
I kinda wanted to see a sub, but on the other hand I didn't feel like we were gonna learn much tonight. Might as well let the guys who were out there suffer through it. Rather than risk anyone. Really didn't look like he wanted to attack the ball and shoot.
When they showed Hudson on the TV feed over the last 10 minutes or so he had retreated to the shelter and his body language looked like he was accepting defeat. Yes, the marking was poor on the second goal - ball watching and sucked toward the goal. But the Rapids' failure to score when they had the opportunities - Badji and McBean - were also deadly. It's hard to assess the team when two or three players that are most likely going to be keep components weren't on the pitch (Aigner, Gashi and Wilson). And boy does it look like Pádraig really needs to hurry up and find a DP level striker.

Meh........First match against, argubaly, the best MLS side ever assembled. I expected an absolute spanking of epic proportions. The Rapids kept it respectable and quite frankly had three good opportunities that hopefully, after a game under their belt, won't get wasted.
Agreed. First game at home and you’re getting dominated, you need to show some passion, or at least a little life...I don’t care how cold it is.
It's very hard to read too much into anything I saw today because of the conditions. 8 degrees. It's a spectacle of itself.
I can't read much about the Rapids season, but I'm not gonna bet heavily on the Rapids out performing Toronto this year.
