I’m an idiot. Univision DirecTV channel 50 doesn’t offer SAP. Have to change to Univision Channel 464 to get the SAP option. I forget this every season and spend the first 30 minutes of the first match fumbling around and getting pissed off until I find it.
Defense looks a lot more solid. Less nervey. Still early though... So far, I like what I see from Bassett. Calm on the ball. Good field vision. Between him and Acosta, Bassett has clearly been the better of the two.
Sometimes you have to tip your hat to a well placed shot but Dallas had far too much possession in the box prior to it.
Ya - reminded me of the 2 goals vs Seattle, where we had plenty of people back but none of them actually defended anybody.
Our midfield is getting absolutely owned. No build up play at all. Can’t move the ball through the middle whatsoever. Acosta looks utterly lost. If the ball doesn’t come up the sides from the Fullback position, it doesn’t make into the final third at all.
Kind of enjoying the game with the sound off (I don't speak Spanish). Also makes it easier to ignore the commercials at half.

Gonzalez hasn't looked invincible in goal. There's an equalizing goal lurking somewhere. FCD is concentrating (correctly) on marking Kamara, but that is leaving other opportunities for the Rapids.
You can strategize and draw up crazy formations all day but in the end if you can’t defend with 4 defenders back and a midfielder to cover then you’re gonna have a bad time.
Okay, they played a lousy half. One goal down is a fair result. Now win a half by a goal and get a point.
At least we finished the half with more shots on goal (2) than goals allowed (1). Improvement from 2018!
May be I’m being overly harsh, but it feels like damn near every pass Acosta makes is off. It’s either been an outright turnover or off the mark and sends the guys scrambling.
