OCFC player went in hard on Bingham and he didn’t like it.

OC player flew into Bingham, sent Bingham rolling. Got up and pushed OC player by the neck, yellow card

Happy in a sense but now Galaxy has one more game to prepare for and this team seems to tire easily. But whatever, we won!

I really liked his no celebration. That’s a kid who wants to play meaningful minutes. Sure it’s a late goal in an Open Cup game but that’s still his first professional goal and yet his attitude was “too easy to celebrate. I could score those all day. Coach, get me some minutes”

How is it possible that Boateng plays just as ineffective against an amateur side as he does against MLS competition?

I had to watch second half on my phone while at a pizza place. But, I’m happy for Efra and glad we won.

Seems like we had the same issues with no real striker to back up Zlatan.

Very curious to see who we play in the next round.

Another road game, another hard draw... Portland eliminated us last year.

Portland is in last place in the West! How can the second place team lose against the last?.... Oh yeah, I remember Colorado now...

Seriously tho, is Ibrah going to get off his lazy behind and do his job or is he a no-show for the entire Cup?

If we dont tank the Portland game then we could potentially get to lock horns with the Goats. I say potentially because I wouldn't put it past Almeyda to have the Quakes win in an upset.

But there it is, one game from going up against the Beast!

I only saw the highlights but I was really impressed by Efrain's free kick. It's got to be weird to be a 16yo playing on a team of grown men and you are the one taking fk's. "All you adults who've been playing this game at the top level for many years now- step aside. I got this!"

Why are we assuming it was his decision? We have a track record of resting names for these games.

Though according to the stadium announcer, we fielded two Perry Kitchens.

It's possible it wasn't but we know Ibrah a little bit. He is the type to look down his nose at this competition. Not that we needed him but with the Gold Cup break he wasn't going to miss his nap time either. We sure as hell are going to need him next match. Ditto for Jona!

The Fire sat Schweinsteiger and they gave up the ghost to St. Luis FC. Colorado gave Tim a break and the fell flat to New Mexico united. We looked sick that first half. It only takes one or two key players and the entire chemistry goes to hell. It's also about attitude toward your own club. I like what Wayne Rooney had to say about it.

Wayne Rooney tells me he absolutely wants to play in the next match “whether it’s against a USL team or an MLS team, it doesn’t matter.” Will be interesting to see how close
#DCU’s 5th round match falls to their next league one. #MLS
