    He's a GK:

With a Division I scholarship from Quinnipiac University in his hip pocket, Federowicz was on the verge of doing something special.

He remains on the verge, though not, at present, with the Bobcats.

Federowicz, 18, is on a world tryout tour that has taken him to South America, Scotland and, currently, England. He put his collegiate career on hold while in pursuit of a professional contract.

    ...

The current adventure began last July with a tryout for Independiente Santa Fe, a professional team in Bogotá, Colombia.

    ...

Next stop was Scotland in August with Falkirk Football Club of the Ladbrokes Championship League, the second tier of Scottish soccer.

    ...

“I’m training with the Doncaster Rovers Football Club until I can get (a new tryout) set up,” he explained, “most likely somewhere on the mainland of Europe.”
