Isco has had two consecutive seasons where he was in double digits in goals/assists.

A player who directly contributes to about 20+ goals in a season isn't "a mediocre player that only dribbles the ball". Even with the troubles he had last season he put up 7 and 7 in about 20 starts the League campaign which are numbers people consider "normal" for players like Pogba, so i don't see how he's average at anything.

During the same show, Gatti said "James is superior to all these Isco and Asensio guys", but James' output is about as high as Isco's. Not even considering the fact that he plays in a Bayern team that is completely loaded vs lower opposition.

This is totally silly and i think he realize he's wrong now and you're trying to dance around the topic. First he didn't say it at all, now he explains it. "Es un mediocre jugador". Puhlease.

Overall Isco has been better than Bale for the entire time they've been in Madrid.

agreed with bale comparison but Isco performance does match with hype ...Isco kills fast play and suddenly we do not enjoy that advantage he is not much use to realmadrid.

Isco hasn’t had a consistent, single outstanding season, over the last 6 years. And this is across multiple managers, his last strongest stint was over 2 years ago. Personally, I would put his performance spikes on par with Bale.
He’s definitely above mediocre, else we wouldn’t get 60m+ on the market if he was to be made available.
But the very fact that we’re all debating his ability and place in the team 6 years on says a lot in my opinion.

Exactly. Good but not good enough to be a starter.

If he wasn’t Spanish, he’d have been sold last year or the summer before.

To Isco’s credit, he hasn’t moaned much at all about playing time, has accepted being a part of the squad and not necessarily the first XI. However, there is a little bit of a myth around his playing time, because he’s always got a solid total of minutes in all of the seasons he’s been here.

This . He has the talent to be one of the world's best . And in reality he is a benchplayer.

See Marco Llorente attitude now his position is cemented considering his performance at key movement, it does not came as chance but he maintained his fitness level and suddenly had his chance and utilized it fully and isco should has done the same

Bale, Benzema , Modric , kross , Marcelo, varena, Asensio and Lucas are under performing , we have young stock but not enough to replace these 8 ( 7 starters and 1 super sub) finally

Below may be adopted plan for winter so that summer we can overhaul the team and scolari to be replaced with Poche

    Plan for Winter
    1. Bring Hermoso to player along side ramos 7.5 Million
    2. Odegaard replace and play for bale Nil
    3. buy a striker Icardi or someone ---90 million
    4. Bring back James ( in place of Isco)-- not sure how much it cost
5.Reguilon back up ( marcelo is out of picture to start or as sub)

we would play double pivotal with casemiro and Llorente so that kross can go up to support striker and also help for Right and left back to go further up into support

Isco was brilliant throughout 2016/17 when we won La Liga.

Also, the notion that he is a ball stopper is absolutely ridiculous and made by people who don't know shit. Maybe you should stop and reconsider whether there is any movement off the ball upfront which could be exploited by Isco. Interestingly, when Ronaldo was here and Bale and Benzema weren't washed up physically, he was feeding the forward line with through balls all day long. But I guess its more likely that Isco changed, not the environment around him, right?

Imagine being so clueless about football that you think there is nothing more to Isco’s football than just aimless dribbling, along with Modric and Marcelo , Isco is the best at picking a dangerous pass in the final 3rd in this team.
The notion that he can’t play simple passes when he has been leading a Tikki takka squad ( Spain ) for the past few years is so dumb it’ll make the YouTube comment section proud.
His problem is consistency, that we can agree on.

He had a stint during the La Liga winning season where he was brilliant for it and average/good for the rest. He was not world class for the entirety of that season.
In that season, he played over 40 games and only had 9 assists, which was in Ronaldo, Bale’s and Benz prime (to use your terms). He’s played in a variety of “environments” and under several managers, but you say things need to be perfect for him to operate in?!

If we do a deep dive and analyse his entire time here I would say he is just above average.. his lows are very frequent.. and I feel that we play worse when he’s on the pitch.
Isco is pampered here, even the press admits this, and when this happens fans tend to overlook the lows and continue to focus and rate a player based on his past performances, which at some point were great.
For the amount of minutes he’s been given, Isco has never and will probably never reach the numbers that James produced here when he was a starter.

Isco had key performances even early on his career at RM. Di Maria missed Quarter final first leg against Dortmund and Isco was brilliant in that game. We won 3-0 with goals from Isco, Bale and Ronaldo. Lost 2nd leg 2-0 with ADM missing a penalty and Casemiro had clutch performance as a sub. So that 3-0 win was key in our La Decima victory that year. He also worked his ass off defensively under Ancelotti.

Isco will probably leave in the summer to Man City or something and become a massive star. It's what we have been doing recently.

We will sign some kids to replace him. We are Arsenal. People didn't believe me. We are Arsenal. Florentino please go

Well start taking it seriously. Start getting used to fighting for fourth place unless we change our transfer policy and president.

I guess you are pretty happy though 'cause you didn't want Hazard or Icardi or Lewa or Kane or whoever. This is what you wanted. You were worried about "prices" and "amounts" in the summer. This is what you wanted. Arsenal. Vinicius. Rodrygo. Palacios.

Aspas has more goals than all our front 3 together.
Dembele misses training and still scores more goals than any of our front 3.

Dude even Sterling lol. This front 3 is horrific. I want huntelaar back and Adebayoor.

If Vinicius/Rodrygo turn out to be half as good as Neymar it will still be great signings.

PSG having the best forwards still struggled to even make it out of group stage.

Barca, when was the last time they even made it to semis of the UCL ?

Throwing money on average players wont guarantee success...

Perez achieved the unprecedented in last seasons. I think he deserves a little more benefit of the doubt.
