He's pretty good imo. He would be a starter on the RW for us if he was here right now. Him or someone like Ante Rebic would be pretty good "squad upgrades". Transfermarkt has them valued around 30-40M euros.

I don't know if they would be happy with the status they would get here but they would be good upgrades to our squad.

He certainly fits the profile of the type of players we should be looking at, quick, close control, able to beat defenders in 1 v 1 on the wing.
We desperately need a couple of players like that.

I definitely see the benefit of bringing in a 19 year old CB who promises to be one of the best in the world; what I just can't get through my head is the price tag it would take. I know it's the current market and all, but Real Madrid still operates under a budget that the oil clubs don't, so spending 80M on a CB is not a policy that is sustainable, especially when we need a super star up front. I'm of the opinion you can find value at the CB position.

Wouldn't mind it in the least bit to be honest, but it means you'll have to clear some space for him in the midfield.

With Bale and Modric likely making way, it seems there will be places and #'s available in the first eleven.

It seems like he gets a minor injury in the first half of every season and it just derails any his chances at a spot in the starting lineup and he ends up battling it out with players like Lucas Vasquez for garbage minutes as a grunt.

As improbable and expensive as this would be, I'd bee intrigued to see what damage they could do if they synced.

Well its beginning to look like you may have to be the one to go. Don't let the door hit you.

With the way Isco Asensio are playing, with the likelihood that Modric's time in white is running out, with the possibility that Mateo does not return...

I dont see how anyone can be against bringing back James. His time at Bayern has largely been a success from an individual standpoint. He's definitely Madrid quality.

Well just fcuk us if we have to see another season of him not living up to expectations while blocking a first team spot that could be given to someone else.

I really hope Florentino splurges and to finance it sells his most marketable and British asset. Of course we'll end up doing a club like United a favor on the transfer fee while they hate us to our core but I am used to that now.

Sell Asensio, he’s very overrated. There’s some dumb club out there who would spend 60-80 million on him. Best sell him now before clubs realise he’s another Adama traore, Jesé, Bojan, Afellay, Deulofeu, Munir, Jefferon etc

He's got great character, which is why when it looked like the club would get a transfer ban he stayed for the season even though he knew Zidane would bench him. He didn't turn his back on the club when we need him. Nuff said.

Doesn't brexit say something about football player orgins? If so that could help us recoup our investment as EPL teams would want him even more.

Lots of players like to take digs at their management when they are benched .
Isco has done it too with Zidane.

“In Madrid, I don't have the confidence a player needs, " Isco said in a post-match interview, as quoted by Marca.

"The matches with the national team give me life. Here, I have the confidence of the coach.
