    Militiao - 50ME
    Mendy - 80ME
    Hazard - 110ME
    Pogba - 180

Total = 420ME, and still no CF/#9 but hey 5 left backs.

I think the fact that the club has not prioritized signing at least one striker (if not 2-3) to compete with Benzema now and with each other for the starting position in the near future is very worrisome. Meanwhile we are overstocked at LB but looking to buy an expensive new backup with a plan that calls for Marcelo to continue.

    A real lack of planning.

45M for quality 23 year old LB would be a steal in today`s market.

You need to try harder man. Especially when there’s a post a few before yours from Sky Sports saying Jovic to Madrid for 60 ME. Not to mention your random guesses at transfer fees being passed off as facts.

Positional awareness was never an issue for Pogba when playing for France.
He would not have made as many tackles as Kante and only a few less than Casemiro if he could not follow the plays and be well positioned to intercept.

To be fair if you just hang around the midfield line the ball is gonna come to you and land at your feet without any other exertion, which is why he can get away with it.

If he was willing to put in a modest effort in defense he could be a world class deep lying playmaker similar to a Xabi or Busquets but he lacks the discipline. He has too heavy of a touch to play as an out and out attacker or AM.

What you get is a lazy box to box, that only walks in one direction (currently only stands and looks in said direction) but offers nothing special going the other way.

Monaco Mendy is the most expensive LB at 60 ME and he's been a flop so far. French media said Lyon's asking price is 50 ME so dunno how he's suddenly gonna cost 80 ME.

Mendy looks quality but he's a Ligue 1 defender. Not in La Liga or PL. So his agent comparing him to Lucas fee is ridiculous. He's proven with Atletico and a world cup winner. Look how much a FB like Pavard cost then. Obviously, he wants the fee to be as high as possible for commission share but that doesn't mean any club will go crazy.

It's a pitty you weren't coming up with the same rhetoric last year when you were moaning about every potential signing and quoting all kinds of financial excuses. Look where that got us.

    Glad you've jumped on board.

This summer has better options. Jovic hadn't had breakout season and Lope wanted Rodrigo Moreno whom Valencia overpriced at 80 ME, injury prone and past his prime Thiago etc. We'd have less to spend on quality players now had we done that. Chelsea were in stronger position regarding Hazard and wouldn't negotiate below world record fee. Rather invest on top tier talents like Rodrygo Goes than such signings Utd have made in recent years.

This is why it doesn't make any sense to spend any money on a LB at this point. Someone needs to be able to tell Zidane "no", we've got all kinds of options available now and in the future.

If Marcelo can regain his form then Reguillon goes back to the bench, if not Reguillon is competent to hold down the fort until reinforcements like Hakimi or Theo arrive. In case of injuries we still have Nacho and I for one think Bale should have been tried at LB a long time ago.

If we are looking at signing a LB for 80ME than I'm sure Zidane thinks he's that far gone with no way back. In that case, I don't know why Reguillon is getting the cold shoulder.

Maybe Zidane wants to replicate the circumstances that Reguillon got into the team so that Mendy looks brilliant compared to Marcelo (even though Mendys performances are average and well below an 80ME value).

Jovic for €60M is fantastic business.

Let these haters keep trolling and the Zidane bashers keep bashing. We're working though.. Rodrygo, Militao, Hazard and now Jovic.

Next Mendy, Eriksen and lastly the cherry on the top:

Jovic is the signing I'm most excited for in some time. We just signed Jason Voorhees.

Yes the prices for Vinicius, Militao and Jovic are really going to make the Hazard, Pogba, Mendy transfers look like bad deals.

Especially because I think the youngsters are headed for stardom while Pogba and Hazard will be hitting their decline. Mendy won't be near the player Militao will be.

Reguilon is better then some 50 mil € Mendy from French league. Underrating our own is also what we do, not just overrating them.

We'll learn it the hard way.

Yes but they would never be able to get a replacement.
Pogba/Sanchez/Bale they are all over paid because they don't make the difference

Hopefully this is true. Quick business is what we need for next season! No drama in the summer so we can focus on the pré season.
