Solari apparently demanded to have offensive reinforcements as Bale, Benz and Mariano are injured and Vinicius is the only one up front (we all know he has a great future in front of him but he’s not a no.9 that could save his now. No killer instinct)

Of course he is no 9. People are stupid if they think we can survive with a depleated squad

Özil blamed it all on his father and fired him right after. I've never heard a bad word about Florentino from Özil, and he even said that Perez spoke to him and told him that he likes him a lot, but they just can't work with his father, so Mesut was stuck between doing what he's father is telling him to do and what he felt like doing.

He wanted to stay, but his father pretty much said stuff like that Ronaldo is useless without Mesut, Özil is a player like Messi, that he'll take him to Barcelona and other outrageous comments. He's a father, it's a typical dad thing.

Militao for 50 M when we could chase after de Light for a similar fee? It's like we're signing all these Brazilians to convince Neymar to join... Marcelo, Militao, Casemiro, Rodrygo, Vinicius, Neymar..

Fee+wages is the real transfer cost. No club on the planet calculates just transfer fees any more.

Ajax already want De Jong type fee. So 75 ME minimum. Then there's Raiola commission and wages. He will ensure there will be a bidding war. All for a player who isn't proven outside Dutch League which is below Portugal. I'd rather have Militao for 50 ME and one of the lowest paid in the team like when Pepe joined. Both players have only played a handful of CL games too.

I think he will end up at PSG along with De Jong as that will ensure Raiola the most money.

All I know is the Ajax duo was on Bayerns radar and the newspapers haven't been saying sheeeeet about them which means both players are probably pricey.

Ajax will probably demand 100 or even 150 million for De Ligt. No way he goes for 50. And isn’t his agent Raiola ? That means super expensive agent fees, wages and bonuses.

Makes sense, because what we need is a goal scorer and now.

Good piece of business from an administration that signs a new starting GK when the clubs all time record goal scorer leaves.

Reminds me of when we passed on players like Joaquin, David Silva, and even Iniesta because we had Figo, Beckham, zidane and whatnot.

There is no wrong time to sign a good player.

So his father annoyed Florentino, so Florentino responded by facilitating Ozil to move.

No part of that shows Florentine couldn't have done with Benzema or Bale. Had he, he would be looking like a genius instead of a fool.

I don't know much about the player, so hoping the club have done their due diligence because 50M is certainly no pocket change. Good to see that they identified the CB position as an area of need; hopefully, they'll pay more attention to the #9 spot.

At least they are signing for a position we actually need and hopefully this guy can be another Pepe for us.

My preference was De Ligt but oh well.

Has anyone watched this Militao guy who can fill us in? I’ve never even heard of the name.

We never needed any of those players. We needed Makelele, some decent depth players like Cambiasso and a nice warm seat on the bench for Beckham but Flo has never been able to understood that.

In the span of his professional career that began in May 2017, he's had 1 injury that he missed 5 days.

How refreshing would that be in comparison to a Vallejo
