Well Bob - really sorry to hear this as my dad passed away from exactly that disease about 2.5 years ago. I posted about it here at the time. My prayers and thoughts are with you to no end. Sorry to hear that- I believe he's had me on ignore (since about a month after I got here) due to some strident viewpoint or other that in my way of expressing might have come across as a newbie as offputting ..... and perhaps made it seemlike I was just trying to cause trouble here and be a pain in the ass here.... Tried to shoot him a question or three in the intervening years since but never got any response, so, he's a man of his word when he says ignore! but in any case, very sorry to hear that news.....

Bob, I hope you get the treatment you need and can stick with us for a good while longer. We’ve got a league to win next year. Although we’ve never met, you have been the rational center of this board and my LFC fandom for almost 2 decades now. Be strong, and know you have many of us pulling for you. Ask for things if you need them.

I met Bob years ago and watched a few matches with him at the pub. We've been facebook friends for a long time, too. We have the same taste in soccer teams and politics. He is a great person, has a wonderful family, and fantastic support. Also, my favorite poster on here. His post-match reports are my favorite. Get well soon, Bob. We are all rooting for you.
