I'm pretty sure the pun is "Aris"="Arise"?

In which case it's terrible. I motion that your pun-making privileges be revoked. Then again, I shouldn't be saying anything given my record.

Nice video. If you made this, maybe next time you could include some good defense and any nice combination passing, etc. This was fantastic though.

Re: Ballers Aris in the Playoffs: Adu in Greece

The best thing about Adu in Greece is we are now finally seeing what the deal is with Freddy, both good and bad. Thanks mainly to our greek friends and freddy's coach. For years we sat wondering how could he so good in the U-20's and at Benefica and suddenly drop off the planet. Culper appears to be the right coach for him in that he recognizes that Freddy has talent but needs more work to get to the next level. There's a saying that " you work on your weaknesses until they become your strenths." and this is what it appears Culper is doing. He's forcing Freddy to learn the entire came i.e. defense, positioning, and working within the team concept. From this last game Culper also demonstrated why he is widely regarded as an elite coach. He almost pulled Freddy out of the game but left him long enough to redeem himself, easily the turning point of the match. From afar it almost seems like Culper has a couple of goals. One help Aris reach higher levels of accomplishment and two develop Freddy into a world class player.

Who was the Olympiakos right back that Freddy was going up against and what kind of player is he?

Georgios Galitsios. He's an up and coming RB for Greece. He probably won't be on their WC roster but is one for the future. He's decent. Not too bad but really hasn't had any head-turning performances in the half-dozen Olympiakos matches I've seen. I want to say he's a converted CB but I'm not too sure about that.

Thanks. Sounds like he is about the Marvel Wynne (not talking about type of player) level in terms of point in his career and place within the Greek national team system.

Whew. I was worried I was the only uncool one -- even after the OP attempted to explain it. I took a big chance.

Well I have an excuse (English isn't my first language) that I pull out for just these special occasions*. Looks like you're on your own, big guy.

*In all fairness, this excuse is only partly true. But still.

I'm trying to think of ways I know that "baller" is used

    1) I wish I was taller, I wish I was a baller...

(don't call the grammar cops on me -- I didn't write the lyrics)

    2) Baller? I barely knew her.
