Good short term appointment for Australia. Thank god Ange( fuçk that spinless kunt)is gone now we can focus solely on the World Cup. Bert knows our players strength and weaknesses since his time managing Saudi Arabia. He might not be the big name like van gaal is, but his conservative approach should help us prepare for the World Cup a lot better. We still won’t progress though, although the journey will be a lot smoother than under some other big name who wouldn’t have the time to study the players properly.

What's the story with Saudi Arabia? Why didn't they renew his contract?

I can't provide you the source, but I think I read somewhere (probably Duerden's article) that BvM didn't like how Saudi FA refused to renew contract for the Dutchman's assistants (or outright fired them without his consent).

I also read they didn't renew his contract because he didn't want to live in Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, also seeing about it, Australia would’ve automatically qualified if we didn’t stuff up against Thailand.

Haha I wonder too but KFA didn't hire him for the same reason, he didn't want to go to Korea but preferred stay at home.

Fkcing hell... Incompetent KFA too stubborn to get a good manager like this and Australia scoops him up. Ever since Stielike and Marwijk were fired, I've wanted this man to be coach. Even back when Hong Myung Bo was resigned, I wanted this man as our coach. How disgraceful.

That's great news. We're neck and neck with Japanese for successful imports so a lot of those spots could go to our boys.

    Arsenal is lit.

20 minutes in, and they are already leading Everton by 3 goals.

holy moly. Saw Tianjin Fc (KKW's team) and saw that they have Axel witsel, Modests and Pato. Its funny how they causally have big name player. Also atleast in training KKW has to defend against those guys

Not attacking you in any sort of way, but training with good players doesn't mean crap in the Middle Eastern/Chinese league.

If that was the case, Jang Hyun-soo, Hong Jeong-ho Kim Young-gwon, Kim Ki-hee, and Kim Ju-young would have been half decent defenders by now.
