Apparently there's a Chinese kid, Lin Liangming, in the Real Madrid castilla. Anyone know if he's the real deal or a simple marketing gimmick?
It's youth/reserve team so who knows. Maybe the player China has been waiting for, or part of strategic agreement between China's football academy and Real Madrid. From what I know, Evergrande Football Academy has a partnership with Real Madrid youth.

They bought him like 2 years ago i think and Real Madrid tried to hype him up. He played with their U-19 in the last years Youth Champions League but only making late sub appearances. He scored a couple of goals and assists in the domestic youth league but since he moved up to the Castilla, or rather since he got too old for the U-19s he´s been given much less playing time, but atleast he does get some occasionally. Still too early to tell but from what i´ve seen, albeit it very little, he´s nothing more than a marketing stunt. Hope i´m proven wrong though
You´re correct with the Evergrande and Real Madrid partnership, but Lin was actually purchased from Guangzhou R&F
Fellaini continuing to have a large role in meh united sides and incidents like just now continue to amaze me.
It was not too long ago when Jiangsu decided to keep Choi Yong-soo at the helm, but I guess not anymore as they've approached Ranieri. EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri offered stunning contract by Chinese club Jiangsu have made an approach for the ex-Leicester boss, who is the latest top European name to be targeted in China’s ongoing football revolution. His agent Steve Kutner confirmed earlier this month there are ‘numerous offers’ for Ranieri to consider over the summer. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...Leicester-news-Claudio-Ranieri-Jiangsu-Suning
This is quite a hilarious list Okay, I've been inspired by this amazing thread about the hilarious history of Sunderland.https://t.co/vrgsRTOK6B— Jonny Sharples (@JonnyGabriel) May 1, 2017
Surprised Emre Can's goal against Watford hasn't been posted yet. One of the best goals I've seen this season.

Not surprising. He was stripped of captaincy in favour of Sakai by Gisdol in December. Apparently that was to do with his attitude. It's odd though, he's been at the club since 2013, but for things to go down hill so suddenly after being made captain this season, I wonder if he has a personal problem with Gisdol.
What do you guys think about the whole "RB" Leipzig issue? Personally, I would be delighted to have Redbull or City Football Group invest in K-league.
I've heard that (the results of) this season will be the final straw for Wenger. Possible successor name that have been thrown around was Massimiliano Allegri. But I doubt he will leave Juventus after this season. Would be interesting to have PSG sack Emery and Arsenal offering him a contract.
