It was posted in earnest. You can imagine how it was received at the time.

I'd be shocked if he gets any significant playing time. He'll prob move back in the summer on loan.

I'd like for him to enjoy a modicum of success. Then he'll get hyped up as China's SHM and it will be even more delicious when we beat them.

Dream scenerio. Wu Lei doesn't see the bench until Espanyol faces Valencia. He somehow manages to end up on bench. Chinese fans are all excited that they might finally see Wu Lei play. However, Lee Kangin scores against Espanyol and Wu Lei never comes out of bench. The fans will be like "there's a 17 years old Korean scoring in La Liga but our best player isn't even good enough to play". Lol.

He's taking 1/10 of his wage in China though. Deserves praise for trying to play in Europe, although the only reason he really made it is because he's Chinese. Don't wish his success though.

As mentioned before he is tearing up that league. Way ahead more known players, he deserves this chance. Dont be so fkcing bitter.

yea his transfer is not due to merit. Just straight up social capital. I would call the move legitimate if he transferred to a 2nd division club in a top footballing nation or a lower league team. He is going to get eaten alive.

FC Tokyo are linked with a lot players, but the Robben one is "nonsense" according to Robben's father.

Damn just realized Brazil has two of the best gk right now- Becker and Ederson.
I hope one day we'll see a Korean GK in the Euro major leagues.

CHW should have been there. WC is the best window. Yet nothing happend. Does not even have the first glove in the NT anymore.

Because he's just not good enough. Jesus. And it's not just him. It's not even his position. I can't think of a single domestic lig playa that could hack it in some first division euro tim

Not true at all. idk why people always make assumptions about some of our players without actually watching the league.

If Kawashima and Gonda can do it, Cho Hyun-woo definitely can.

Thats the problem , it wont happen. I think Cho is better than the both. Well maybe not when Kawashima was at his best. But Im not gonna start another debate about this, we all know korean players most likely dont go to Europe while Japane ship them out literally.

Having better agents/european connections is key.

Gonda (perfect example) is definitely not European league quality nor is Kawashima right now.

Yea gonda is pretty mediocre. I would rate like 4 korean keepers above him. He seems to have decent positioning, and decent technique on the ball. But he has subpar reflexes and quickness.

Totally agree. Still they are in asian leagues. KMJ is the perfect example for this shite.

Shinji Kagawa joining Besiktas on loan or joining Hannover? The dude will be 30 soon and has been following Ulsan Hyundai on Instagram for a while now. He's free to come to the K-League and play with his former teammate, Park Joo-ho, later on in the future.

Shoya Nakajima joining Al-Duhail for 35 million euros.

Sandro Wagner joins Stielike at Tianjin TEDA.

Wagner-Lee Jeong-hyeop-Sebastian Soria, a dream line up for Stielike that would win the treble in China lmao
