God bless Costa Rica and Honduras. Seriously, wishing that these North/Central American countries knock both USA and Mexico out of the WC spot contention.
Maybe Mexico is a real possibility at this point, but I don't think the USA is going anywhere. I am excited to see newer teams like Costa Rica (though they did go to 2006) go to the World Cup. Absolute dream would to see Jamaica in the World Cup. Imagine all those Bob Marley flags that non-Jamaicans will probably wave in the stands in Brazil.
it's never cold in costa rica. but it's sure damn rainy...and the costa rican curse continues for the united states.
I was 5 years old, so I don't really remember anything before that. First real World Cup I was emotionally invested into was 2002.
Well.. Saudi Arabia tied Argentina 0-0 at home, and South Korea with the same scoreline against Peru.. But it seems like we all choke against Brazil. That's for sure. China (8-0) Iraq (6-0) Australia (6-0) and Japan (4-0)
Australia are pathetic can't even string a couple of passes together. Won't make it out of the Group stage come Brazil. It was like Boys v Men, Holger out now please.
