There needs to be a result where both teams lose, just for these kinds of situations. Maybe 0-0, both teams get L? That'd sure put a crimp in Dom's style (as well as others).
LOL LA Times Sports: #LAFC gets featured, while Carson literally gets “the other club” treatment. pic.twitter.com/msxNxlAtXM— D🍩NUTS (@SteelyZidane) March 5, 2018
Front page below the fold of the Los Angeles Times sports section is a lot better than the Galaxy got for a heckuva long time. Meanwhile, the Quakes are buried behind Aldon Smith in the Mercury News, where "San Jose" itself has been consigned to the trash can. By the way, most national media organizations are unaware of this fact and continue to attribute stories to the now non-existent San Jose Mercury News, thereby purveying Fake News in the process, even if the underlying story is otherwise accurate.
BTW that LAFC win has to be one of the luckiest on record. I think that game had the highest xGD of all this weekend's games, and it was in favor of the losing team. Fool's gold.
The announcers were drooling all over LAFC, especially after they scored their early goal, but then Seattle began to assert themselves and were the better team for most of the game.
It was 2.5 xG for Seattle vs. 0.5 xG for LAFC, but, yeah, I know "the only stat that matters is on the scoreboard". I just hope, for LAFC fans' sake, that they don't think they're going to get used to winning.
RBNY beat Tijuana 2-0 in Mexico! That raises the bar for MLS. New chance to raise the bar tonight in Toronto. Tigres are a truly excellent team and they brought their A squad. If Toronto can beat them in either leg it is probably the best result ever for MLS. Liga MX is changing in the same way MLS is: more foreign players leading to higher overall quality. Tigres have a French, a Chilean, and an Ecuadorian leading the attack, with a Brazilian captain when just a few years ago that would have been unthinkable. Toronto is chasing the moving (upward) target of beating Liga MX's best. Good luck to them! Oh yeah, the Sounders are playing someone too. I guess I hope they also win? It is hard to think positive thoughts for them
For anyone who just likes to see the LA Galaxy suffer at all levels, this kid from Pateadores named Kyle Holcomb (who apparently can't get a USYNT call up) just dropped five goals on their academy team.... 971477645891330048 is not a valid tweet id
Hey Falvo, i'm curious how closely the translator relays Mike Piazza words about his need for a stadium for AC Reggiana 1919, especially the part where he says he is frickin PO'd and his team has cojones. Care to watch the first 6 minutes and answer my question? I don't care about the Q&A, just his table-pounding speech. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=2091634767736087

Blue socks would've completed the outfit perfectly , but all in all, a job well done. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
After watching Colorado play I can safely say that they have zero offensive threats. Nada. None. Zilch.
