He made the wrong move at the time when stepping up. Fiorentina, will all respect to them (post Mutu when they were a reasonable force) were not a big enough stage for him to get that recognition. He should have secured a move to a consistent champions league side. Still a very good career over the past decade in Serie A.
It’s criminal Miccoli never got more recognition for how good he was. It was unfortunate he came up at time where there was Totti and Del Peiro, today he’d easily be one of Italy’s best players.

Will Marotta be allowed to join Inter during the season? I know there is rule that a coach can't go to a team during the season if he was already on another team but not sure about administrators and/or GM's.

Always thought his lack of game time strange at Napoli. He was one of the Premier leagues best all rounder midfielders for a couple of years at Swansea. I would have been happy to see him line up in our colours.
