From new "golden" generation to bums in about three days. This team is worse than the one that played Spain in the final, and that one wasn't even that great either.
See, I told you guys maybe more accurately we're trying to pay them to take Ricky. Biglia’s current contract is due to expire in June 2018 and he is 31 years old, so Milan won’t propose more than €13m (according to Sky Sport Italia) or €15m plus Riccardo Montolivo (claim Mediaset Premium). One source has us offering 13m and another has us offering $2m more + Montolivo. They've rejected the second offer, lol.
It was quite literally one of the worst displays of football I've seen in a long time from them, or any other version. There was a disturbing lack of organization. No cohesion. Invisible midfield. A defense that watched the ball and ran backwards from their opposition. A goalie that was not focused (under the circumstances, possibly understandable) and a forward who didn't want to hit open nets. The biggest blame has to go to DiBiagio who looked clueless on the bench. Didn't make any tactical changes after the Czech's countered yet another missed opportunity by Petagna and went up a goal. His only excuse was that Italy was parked in Denmark's end for 10 minutes after Berardi drew them level only to see Petagna do his best to miss open nets time and again. There was a debatable offiside goal called back, but that wouldn't have mattered if Petagna wanted to hit the net, at least once. DiBiagio also came out making 4 changes from the team that beat Denmark. Why? He says squad rotation. In a 5 game max tournament. Ridiculous. What's evident is that the 5 man midfield, counter attacking Czech's took a page out of the old school Italian books, beat them at their own game (or is it even anymore?) while suffering 40% possession and generating half the chances, and I don't see anything wrong with the way they played and won. However, had Italy been on that end it would most likely have been called something stupid, like cowardly. What's ridiculous is not defending and running away from your opposition. What's ridiculous is playing a game plan that clearly had no plan at all but push people forward and attack...just not up the middle since they plugged it up. That was DiBiagio's magical plan. Horrific. As I said in the game thread, who tricked the coaches and educators at Coverciano to play anything but the style we perfected over the years and everyone hated because they were unable to penetrate it. Who? Almost everyone else does it nowadays, and its anything but cowardly, it seems. At the end of the day I'm glad they got beat and if we have any luck (should DiBiagio do the same thing) Germany must absolutely put 5 goals past us. There's no excuse with a team that has that talent to have no tactical game plan, or one that essentially involved just running around in a circle trying to dribble the ball into the net. And Petagna cannot start anymore. He's missed enough sitters in two games.
Too much talent on the bench for a miss firing Petagna to be getting 90mins. As bad as they looked, when your striker misses relatively easy chances you've got no chance.
He's overrated, and his ego on and off the field makes one believe he won back to back World Cups. Can't stand him.
I have to ask a serious question to Roma fans. Did Spalletti ever have this much of a hard on for Valero?
Hope Inter don't get Valero he's class and will likely come dirt cheap considering his age. What's happening with Fiorentina? According to rumors they might lose Bernadeschi, Valero, Kalinic and Chiesa. Obviously they wouldn't sell all of them but it seems like they're blowing up their team.
Dolla staying at Milan would be the most important signing for Serie A in seasons. It's imperative that he sets the example; that Serie A is a dormant volcano on the cusp of exploding again. Give it 2-3 seasons before all of Roma/Napoli/AC/Inter are on the same level, all pushing and perhaps pipping Juventus. La Liga will -never- have more than just a 2 horse race, with Atletico joining in that race twice a decade. It's not too different in England.
Learned about this thanks to a fine contributing member of this community that they tried to blot out... Hackeraggio sul mio account Chiudo social https://t.co/GMkxsdZsct— GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA (@donnarumma) June 25, 2017 Fckn Russians....
Who knows what's up now. This morning he tweeted, #Raiola Ieri , Oggi e Domani !! ... then reports that after the U21 finishes he'll discuss the renewal with Milan.
WTF.. why don't ya'll just pay the kid. Forget some of these signings and make him one of the top paid GK in Italy.
Eh? Are you messing or not following? He was offered €5m Net / season. That means €10m gross before Mino turned it down trying to force a sale just prior to leaving for the U21 Euro's.
oh, I forgot to add.. I hate that fat piece of garbage Raiola.. thankfully he's one plate of carbonara away from a heart attack.
